American Muslims feel unsafe Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: Police arrested and
charged Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, with three counts of first degree murder for the shooting deaths of three Muslim students at a quiet condominium complex near the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The motives remain unknown, but the perpetrator allegedly expressed extremist views against Muslims in the past. The victims – a man, his wife and her sister – were found after police responded to a report of gunshots at around 5:15pm on Tuesday. The three, who were
identified as Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Barakat and Mohammad were married, and Abu-Salha was Mohammad’s sister, according to the University of North Carolina (UNC).

Are Muslims inherently violent!
Dr. Mohammad Riyad When president Obama implied that: that Christians are equivalent to Muslims and compared ISIS to the Crusades at a national prayer breakfast on Thursday, his remarks ignited a firestorm of criticism. Some critics have described the president remarks as “insulting to Christians” others accused the president of not knowing enough about the history of the crusades, while some asked the president to be clear enough and declare that the United States is at war with Islam not just with ISIS, claiming that “Muslims are inherently violent and dangerous” and that “they are different that the rest of us” This is very similar to the claim made by some white supremacists in the 1960s who called Martin Luther King an anti-white racist for asserting that white and black people are fundamentally the same. Although, I do believe that some interpretations of Islam are inherently violent and evil indeed, I need to point out that bigoted and biased claims of racial or religious superiority are also inherently evil and dangerous. We have to be crystal clear about this, ISIS is a terrorist organization; no doubt about that. But ISIS is not Islam and Islam is not ISIS.

Presidential elections to top $5 billion in donations: Fundraisers Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: The 2016 US presidential elections could cost as much as $5 billion, about double the cost of 2012 election, according to top fundraisers.
The amount would be about double the estimated $2.6 billion cost of the 2012 campaign. One close ally familiar with fundraising said Hillary Clinton could raise $800 million from digital advertising alone in 2016. “That’s a really realistic goal,” the ally said.
Democratic Hillary Clinton is believed to absorb the most donations if she chooses to run for president. Observers predict that the former secretary of state could raise somewhere between $1.5 billion to $2 billion in campaign money. Don Peebles, a real estate mogul and top political fundraiser, predicts that Clinton would see “significant fundraising … [and] record-breaking financial reports,” according to the congressional newspaper The Hill. “She has a very strong capacity to raise significant funds,” said Peebles, who also served on Obama’s national
finance committee. When the campaigns are over, Peebles said that the presidential race could come close to $5 billion in total, including the campaigns, party funds, independent expenditures and third parties.
Obama’s reelection campaign team in 2012 spent $683.5 million, with the Democratic Party and outside donations taking the sum to $1.1 billion, according to Federal Electronic Commission filings from the Center for Responsive Politics. Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s campaign spent $433.3 million in 2012. Combined with outside groups and the Republican Party, the total was pushed to $1.24 billion, according to FEC filings.
US police confront Google over ‘cop-tracking’ app Obama compares ISIS militants to Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: A Google traffic app that allows users to tag the location of police has come under fire from US law enforcement for allegedly endangering officers’ lives. But supporters of Waze say police are simply uncomfortable being monitored by the public. With over 50 million users worldwide, Waze is the world’s largest community-based traffic app, using GPS and social networking to alert drivers to traffic jams, accidents and even potholes. In 2013 it was bought by Google for $966 million. For many drivers in the US, it’s considered essential for getting around as quickly and conveniently as possible: something which can involve knowing where police are. Users drop a pin on the Waze map to show where they’ve cited law enforcement, supposedly prompting users to drive more carefully. Supporters of the scheme say it encourages safer driving. But for the past month, police have
been campaigning for Google to disable it. In an open letter to Google CEO Larry Page late December, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck warned that the app poses a danger to the lives of police officers. “I am concerned about the safety of law enforcement officers and the community, and the potential for your Waze product to be misused by those with criminal intent to endanger police officers and the community,” Beck wrote. He cited the deaths of New York patrol officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, whose assassin, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, allegedly used the app to “track the location of police” before shooting the partners dead on a busy Brooklyn street on December 20. Brinsley posted several anti-police messages on his Instagram account ahead of the shooting, threatening to avenge the 2014 police deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner by killing police officers.
US charges three in alleged Russian spy ring Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: Three Russian citizens were charged Monday in connection with a Cold War-style Russian spy ring that spoke in code, passed information concealed in bags and magazines, and tried to recruit people with ties to an unnamed New York City university, authorities said. Evgeny Buryakov, Igor Sporyshev and Victor Podobnyy conspired to gather economic intelligence on behalf of Russia, including alleged information about U.S. sanctions against the country, and to recruit New York City residents as intelligence sources, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in a statement. Monday’s charges are linked to Buryakov’s alleged covert work on behalf of Russia’s foreign intelligence service, known as the SVR, according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court in Manhattan. The defendants were directed by Russian authorities “to gather intelligence on, among other sub-
jects, potential United States sanctions against Russian banks and the United States’ efforts to develop alternative energy resources,” the complaint said. Buryakov, 39, masked this work by posing as a banker for Russia’s Vnesheconombank, according to the complaint and the bank’s website. The alleged conspiracy began in 2012, following the 2010 expulsion of several Russian spies from the United States. Federal prosecutors said Sporyshev, 40, worked as a Russian trade representative from November 2010 to November 2014, while Podobnyy, 27, was an attaché to Russia’s mission to the United Nations from December 2012 to September 2013. . “The presence of a Russian banker in New York would in itself hardly draw attention today, which is why these alleged spies may have thought Buryakov would blend in,” U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara in Manhattan said in a statement.
Former CIA officer convicted of leaking secrets to journalist Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: A former CIA officer was convicted Monday of leaking classified details of an operation to thwart Iran’s nuclear ambitions to a New York Times reporter. Jurors convicted 47-year-old Jeffrey Sterling of O’Fallon, Missouri, of all nine counts he faced in federal court. On the third day of deliberations, the jurors told the judge that they could not reach a unanimous verdict. However, they delivered guilty verdicts later in the afternoon after the judge urged them to keep talking. At issue in the two-week trial: Who told journalist James Risen about the secret mission, one that former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice testified was one of the government’s most closely held secrets as well as one of its best chances to thwart Iran’s nuclear-weapons ambitions? The case was delayed for years as prosecutors fought to force Risen to divulge his sources, though they ultimately decided not to call him to testify once it became clear he would not reveal those sources even if jailed for contempt of court. Prosecutors had acknowledged a lack of direct evidence against Sterling, but said the circumstantial evidence against him was overwhelming. Defense lawyers had said the evidence showed that Capitol Hill staffers who had been briefed on the classified operation were more likely the source of the leak. The plan involved using a CIA asset nicknamed Merlin, who had been a Russian nuclear engineer, to foist deliberately flawed nuclear-weapons
blueprints on the Iranians, hoping they would spend years trying to develop parts that had no hope of ever working. Risen’s 2006 book, “State of War,” describes the mission as hopelessly botched, and possibly backfiring by giving the Iranians blueprints that could be useful to them if they sorted out the good information from the errors. In his closing arguments, prosecutor Eric Olshan said the chapter of Risen’s book seemed to be clearly written from Sterling’s perspective as Merlin’s case handler. The book describes the handler’s misgivings about the operation while others at the CIA push the plan through despite its risks. Furthermore, Sterling believed he had been mistreated and was angry that the agency refused to settle his racial discrimination complaint, Olshan said. Risen had written about that complaint, and he was known to have a relationship with Sterling. The two exchanged dozens of phone calls and emails, Olshan said. But defense lawyers said the government had no evidence that Risen and Sterling talked about anything classified in those phone calls and emails. The government failed to obtain Risen’s records to see who else he may have contacted. Defense attorney Barry Pollack said Risen first got wind of the operation in early 2003, within weeks of Sterling reporting his misgivings to staffers at a Senate intelligence committee — a channel that Sterling was legally allowed to pursue. Pollack said it makes more sense that a Hill staffer leaked to Risen.

to go to court, in order to have these words removed,” Paris’s Socialist mayor said. “The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honour of Paris has been prejudiced.” Hidalgo’s comments come despite an apology from Fox news following its incendiary interview with “National Security expert” Nolan Peterson in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, in which he claimed that certain districts of Paris were comparable with Baghdad.
His comments were echoed by Nigel Farage, the leader of Britain’s eurosceptic UKIP party, who told Fox that the so-called no-go zones matched a rise of “big ghettos” across Europe. Fox was widely ridiculed for its comments on the French capital, with TV channels airing ironically sinister interviews with bemused residents of these districts who insisted that Fox’s negative portrayal of the city was laughably off the mark.
US charges 6 with supporting militants: Justice Department Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: The United States has charged six people with providing support to foreign militants joining al-Qaeda, al-Nusra Front and ISIL in Syria and Iraq, a report says. The US Justice Department said on Friday the six supplied money and equipment including American military uniforms to foreign fighters, Reuters reported. The equipment includes combat boots, tactical gear, military surplus goods and firearms accessories, said a federal grand jury indictment made public by the Justice Department. They are originally from Bosnia who were living in Missouri, Illinois, and New York - five of whom were arrested in the US and the sixth one is currently in another country, the department said in a statement. The defendants were identified as Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 40; his wife, Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35; and Armin Harcevic, 37, all of St. Louis County, Missouri; Nihad Rosic, 26, of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34 of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42, of Rock-
ford, Illinois. Ramiz Zijad Hodzic and Rosic also faced charges of plotting to murder and maim people in a foreign country. “Today’s charges and arrests underscore our resolve to identify, thwart, and hold accountable individuals within the United States who seek to provide material support to terrorists and terrorist organizations operating in Syria and Iraq,” said Assistant Attorney General John Carlin. The group used people in Turkey and Saudi Arabia as intermediaries to transfer the money and the equipment to fighters in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere.
Over the past two years, thousands of dollars have been transferred to buy equipment for an individual identified as Abdullah Ramo Pazara as well as other foreign fighters, the indictment said. The indictment read that two of the defendants, in a message, discussed purchasing a nightvision optic with a built-in camera in order to film killings in the Middle East. The accused also used telephones and social networking sites including Facebook to communicate messages, using fabricated names and code words including “Lions,” “Bosnian brothers”.

IS group crisis increases headaches for Jordan’s crown Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: Holding posters of Jordanian Air Force pilot Mu’as al-Kasaseabeh, the protesters demanded that their king secure the serviceman’s release more than a month after his capture by the Islamic State (IS) group when his fighter jet was shot down in eastern Syria. On Wednesday night, as palace guards looked on ineffectually, a number of protesters broke away from the demonstration to talk to reporters. “We should not join this coalition”, said one protester, referring to the US-led international coalition against the IS group. “If the West wants to fight, they can do that. But Jordan is a small country in an unstable region.” Another demonstrator walked over to express her rage against the Jordanian authorities. “Mu’as has been captured for more than 35 days”, she fumed. “No official has bothered to meet his parents and just talk to them.” Minutes later though, the latter claim appeared to be outdated. Dressed in the traditional flowing robes of a tribal sheikh, Safi alKasaseabeh, father of the captured Jordanian Royal Air Force pilot, emerged to tell protesters he had met with King Abdullah. The Jordanian monarch had assured Kasaseabeh’s father that his administration was doing everything to secure his son’s release. “King Abdullah told me that Mu’as was like a son to him”, Sheikh Kasaseabeh told reporters in Arabic. The king had given his word – and for the moment at least, the distraught father seemed reassured. But as yet another harrowing IS group deadline for a prisoner swap passed Thursday, with the fates of the Jordanian pilot and a Japanese journalist still unknown, nerves have been fraying across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. And for the country’s absolute monarch, the headaches have increased – with potentially grave implications. Uneasy lies the head that wears the Hashemite crown. Tiny, dry, cashstrapped and bereft of substantial oil reserves, the kingdom has also been cursed by geography. To the north, the 375-kilometre border with civil war-engulfed Syria has failed to contain the shockwaves and tides of refugees into Jordan. To the east, the 180-kilometre border with Iraq abuts the restive Anbar province, where the IS group has extended its tentacles. South of the IraqiJordanian border lies Saudi Arabia, a Sunni powerhouse ruled by the House of Saud, historic rivals of the Hashemites, who were kicked out of their ancestral Hejaz (now in Saudi Arabia) during the colonial-era Saudi-Hashemite wars. To the west, Israel is a nuclear-armed neighbour that can

topple the apple cart in a dangerous region at any moment. Plus, there’s the West Bank, with its millions of dispossessed Palestinians, who have been Jordan’s burden for more than half-a-century. The latest ruthless maneuverings by the IS group (also known as ISIS and ISIL) have put Jordan in a particularly thorny position. By demanding that Amman release Sajida al-Rishawi, a female jihadist on death row, in exchange for the release of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto, the jihadist group has pitched the tiny Hashemite kingdom into a vortex of competing demands and allegiances. On the one hand, Japan – a major donor nation – has been “applying pressure” on Jordan to release Rishawi, according to Japan’s biggest-selling paper, the Yomiuri Shimbun. On the other hand, the US – Jordan’s most powerful Western ally – has pointedly reiterated its position that Washington does not “make concessions to terrorists.” On the domestic front, King Abdullah is in a particularly unenviable position – as the recent protests at the Royal Court show. Reporting from Amman on Thursday, FRANCE 24’s Gaelle Sundelin noted that, “the majority of Jordanians are aligned behind the idea of doing the prisoner swap. They want to get this young Jordanian back”, explained Sundelin. “There’s growing discontent regarding the very participation of Jordan in the coalition [against the IS group].” For its part, Jordan has demanded proof that its captured pilot is still alive as a precondition for prisoner swap negotiations with the IS group – if negotiations with the jihadist group are indeed possible. With the family of captured journalist Goto putting pressure on Japanese authorities, who in turn are pressurising their Jordanian allies, the only winner in this mournful mix has been the Islamic State group. “ISIS is playing this card of trying to increase pressure between the public and the regime. It’s part of their propaganda to attract the media and they have succeeded because they are clever”, said Oraib al-Rantawi, director of the Amman-based Al-Quds Center for Political Studies. The question though is whether the IS group’s immediate propaganda gains can strike at the heart of the Hashemite kingdom. In other words, if the upstart, so-called caliphate presents a real threat to a royal house that traces its ancestry all the way back to the Prophet Mohammed.
It is the latest evidence of atrocities committed in areas held by the Islamic State (IS) group to emerge since Kurdish forces pushed the jihadists back. A team acting on a tip-off from a resident opened the grave near the village of Bardiyan on Friday, said Fuad Othman, a spokesman for the Kurdish regional government. CIA, Mossad plotted Hezbollah leader’s killing, report claims Almashreq editorial staff/ news analyst finder: The CIA and Israel’s spy agency Mossad were behind an elaborate plot to kill Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh in a 2008 car bomb attack in Syria, the Washington Post reported Friday. Citing former intelligence officials, the newspaper reported that US and Israeli spy agencies worked together to target Mughniyeh on February 12, 2008 as he left a restaurant in the Syrian capital Damascus. He was killed instantly by a car bomb planted in a spare tire on the back of a parked car, which exploded shrapnel in a tight radius, the Post said. The bomb, built by the United States and tested in the state of North Carolina, was triggered remotely by Mossad agents in Tel Aviv who were in communication with Central Intelligence Agency operatives on the ground in Damascus. “The way it was set up, the US could object and call it off, but it could not execute,” a former US intelligence official told the newspaper. A senior Hezbollah commander, Mughniyeh was suspected of masterminding the abduction of Western hostages in Lebanon in the 1980s and of the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy in Argentina that killed 29 people. He was also linked to the bombing of the US marine barracks at Bei-
rut airport in 1983, in which 241 American servicemen died, and the hijacking of TWA Flight 847 in 1985, in which a US navy diver was killed. The CIA declined to comment to the Post about the report. “The decision was we had to have absolute confirmation that it was self-defense.” The newspaper said that during the Iraq war, the Bush administration had approved a list of operations aimed at Hezbollah, and according to one official, this included approval to target Mughniyeh. “There was an open license to find, fix and finish Mughniyeh and anybody affiliated with him,” a former US official who served in Baghdad told the Post. According to the newspaper, American intelligence officials had been discussing possible ways to target the notorious Hezbollah commander for years, and senior US Joint Special Operations Command agents held a secret meeting with the head of Israel’s military intelligence service in 2002. “When we said we would be willing to explore opportunities to target him, they practically fell out of their chairs,” a former US official told the Post. Though it is not clear when the agencies realized Mughniyeh was living in Damascus, a former official told the newspaper that Israel had approached the CIA about a joint operation to kill him in Syria’s capital. The agencies collected “pattern of life” information about him and used facial recognition technology to establish his identity after he walked out of a restaurant the night he was killed.

Preparation :

1. Mash the garlic into a paste with the salt using a mortar and pestle or the flat side of a chef’s knife on your cutting board. در جریان سه روز حمالت تروریستی در هفته گذشته مجموعا ۱۷نفر و از جمله سه مهاجم کشته شدند. به گزارش رسانههای فرانسوی و غربی قرار است روز چهارشنبه ۲۰۱۵-۱-۱۴روی جلد تازهرتین شامره نرشیه طنز شارلی ایبدو با نقشی از پیامرب اسالم چاپ شود که پالکاردی با این مضمون در دست دارد« :من شارلی هستم» و باالی رس او نوشته شده «همه بخشوده شدند». قرار است بازماندگان تیم «شارلی ایبدو» سه میلیون نسخه از شامره جدید این مجله را چاپ کنند. گفتنی است پیش از حمالت تروریستی روز چهارشنبه این مجله فقط ۶۰هزار نسخه تیراژ داشت.
غنی :کارمندان تدارکات وزارت دفاع افغانستان تعلیق وممنوع الخروج هستند
رییس جمهوری افغانستان اعالم کرده است، وظایف کارمندان بخش تدارکات و خریداری وزارت دفاع این کشور به حالت تعلیق آورده شده و این افراد ممنوع الخروج میباشند. دفرت مطبوعاتی ریاست جمهوری افغانستان نوشته است ،رییس جمهور ارشف غنی ،بعد از بررسی شامری از قراردادهای وزارت دفاع با رشکتهای خصوصی این تصمیم را گرفت. در این خربنامه آمده است ،رییس جمهوری غنی ،هیاتی را به رسپرستی حمیدالله فاروقی تعیین کرده تا قراردادهای فعلی را به طور همه جانبه و بنیادی مورد بررسی قرار دهد. از سوی دیگر ،نظیف الله ساالرزی ،سخنگوی رییس جمهوری افغانستان نیز گفته است، قرارداد فعلی تیل (سوخت)وزارت دفاع ملی از سوی رییس جمهور غنی فسخ اعالم شده و دوباره به اعالم سپرده میشود. ساالرزی افزود ،به شمول هفت قرارداد بزرگ وزارت دفاع ،قرارداد تیل این وزارتخانه نیز بررسی و هیاتی موظف شد تا پروسه داوطلبی این قراردادها را بررسی کند. سخنگوی رییس جمهور غنی گفت« :رئیس جمهور افغانستان خواستار توضیحات در مورد اتهامات علیه قراردادهایی شد که از سوی یکی
از بازندههای قرارداد مذکور وارد گردیده و گفته است که در این قرارداد در حدود ۲۱۵ میلیون دالر تفاوت موجود است». ساالرزی افزود ،این تفاوت از سوی آیساف و سیگار نیز تائید شده و در گزارش ریاست تدارکات ریاست جمهوری نیز ثبت شده که هفت قرارداد مختلف دیگر نیز دارای مشکالت حقوقی و تخنیکی بودند. نظیف الله ساالرزی تاکید کرد ،وزارت دفاع موظف است تا متام دوسیههای تدارکاتی شانرا به ریاست جمهوری ارائه کند و صالحیتهای «ای
آر دی ایس» در تشکیالت ریاست تدارکات ملی ریاست جمهوری ادغام شود. سخنگوی رییس جمهور غنی عالوه کرد ،پس از این ،بخش تدارکات وزارتخانههای امنیتی و دفاعی ،غیر نظامی خواهد شد و روی این طرح ریاست تدارکات ریاست جمهوری کار میکند. گفتنی است شفافیت بین املللی افغانستان را یکی اکشورهایی اعالم کرده که دارای فاسدترین سیستم اداری است .ارشف غنی احمدزی در دوران مبارزات انتخاباتی خود قول داده بود که با فساد اداری به شدت مبارزه کند.
دخرت بچه ای ۸ساله رس میز شام احتامال به پدر دانشمند خود برای درمان رسطان کمک کرده است. کاملیا لیسانتی ،از شهر منچسرت بریتانیا ،مشغول خوردن شام بود که پدرش مایکل -دانشمند تحقیقات رسطان -از او میپرسد بنظر او چگونه میتوان رسطان را درمان کرد. دخرت ۸ساله بعد از کمی فکر پیشنهاد استفاده از آنتی بیوتیک« ،مانند موقعی که من گلو درد دارم» ،را میدهد. پروفسور لیسانتی و همرسش ،هردو عضو تیم تحقیقاتی رسطان در دانشگاه منچسرت بریتانیا هستند .آنها این نظریه کودک خود را در آزمایشگاه بکار گرفتند ،و با کامل ناباوری متوجه شدند که چندین آنتی بوتیک ارزان سلولهای رسطانی را از بین بردند.
بعضی از آنتی بوتیکها سلولهایی را که «میتوکوندریا» تولید میکنند از کار میاندازند. میتوکوندریا به سلولها انرژی میدهد. سلولهای رسطانی ،که تولید غده میکنند و آنرا زنده نگه میدارند ،معموال شامر زیادی میتوکوندریا دارند. به گزارش سایت بریتانیایی دیلی میل ،تحقیق این دانشمندان نشان میدهد ۴آنتی بیوتیک معمولی ،میتواند با هزینه کمرت از یک دالر در روز کاری را انجام دهد که داروهای چند صد دالری انجام میدهند .در منونههای آزمایش شده، آنتی بوتیک توانسته سلولهای رسطانی در سینه، پروستات ،ریه ،لوزاملعده ،پوست و مغز را بکشد. به لطف این توصیه دخرتش ،دکرت لیسانتی اکنون معتقد است آنتی بیوتیکهای ارزان قیمت میتوانند در درمان رسطان بکار گرفته شوند.
دانشمندان گونهای جدید از انسانهای اولیه را کشف کردند
گروهی از دانشمندان کشورهای ژاپن ،تایوان و اسرتالیا ،بقایای جسدی از انسانهای اولیه (- ۱۰ ۱۹هزار سال پیش) را در جزیره بینگهو تایوان کشف کردهاند. به گزارش سایت روسی «لینتا .رو» ،دانشمندان تاکنون نتوانستهاند جنس و عمر این انسان را از طریق استخوانهای به دست آمده ،تشخیص دهند. این دانشمندان ،اما با استناد به تجزیه و تحلیل استخوان فک ،به این نتیجه رسیدند که نوع جدیدی از انسان اولیه را کشف کردهاند ،چرا که
استخوان فک این جسد با فکهای صورت عادی متفاوت است. دانشمندان این انسان را «بینگهو» نامیدهاند .به گفته این گروه از دانشمندان ،جسد یافت شده، دارای استخوان فک بزرگ و متفاوتی است. آنها بر این باورند که اجداد این انسان یا در آسیا میزیستند ،یا اینکه از قاره آفریقا به آسیا مهاجرت کردهاند. این گروه از دانشمندان میگویند که انسان «بینگهو» منیتواند به طور مستقیم پیشینیه انسان کنونی باشد.
گرانرتین داروی جهان به بازار آمد
اکولیزوماب ،یا دارویی که به «سولیریس» موسوم است ،از سوی وزارت بهداشت بریتانیا اجازه ورود به بازار را یافت .این دارو به گفته مقامات بهداشتی بریتانیا گرانرتین داروی جهان است. سولیریس برای درمان یک بیامری کلیوی نادر که در حال حارض حدود ۲۰۰نفر در بریتانیا به آن مبتال هستند کاربرد دارد. مقامات بهداشتی بریتانیا میگویند که تامین این دارو برای این بیامران در این کشور در سال ۸۲ میلیون پاند هزینه خواهد داشت ،و این دارو میتواند این بیامران را از خطر مرگ نجات دهد. این دارو برای بیامرانی است که مبتال بههمولیتیک اورامیک سیندرم هستند ،بیامری
خطرناکی که باعث میشود تا رگهای خونی ملتهب شده و لختههای خود در رسارس بدن ایجاد گردد. در حال حارض ۲۰۰نفر در بریتانیا به این بیامری مبتال هستند ،و هر ساله بین ۵۰تا ۶۰نفر به آن دچار میشوند .این بیامران دامئا در معرض اختالل و نارسایی در اندامهای حساس بدن ،به ویژه کلیههای خود هستند. هزینه سنگین این دارو بحثهایی را در محافل درمانی بریتانیا گشوده است ،و این در حالی است که بیامران رسطانی در حال حارض به دلیل سنگینی هزینه درمان با دشواریهایی روبرو هستند.
شهاب سنگ ۵۵۰مرتی دوشنبه از کنار زمین میگذرد
یک شهاب سنگ عظیم به زمین نزدیک میشود، اما خوشبختانه نه آنقدر نزدیک که آسیبی به این کره خاکی برساند. کیهانشناسان بر این باورند که این شهاب سنگ از نظر رسعت و بزرگی قابل توجه است و در شب دوشنبه در آسامن بعضی نقاط زمین و با کمک دوربینهای قوی قابل رویت خواهد بود. این شهاب سنگ ۵۵۰مرت طول دارد ،و از ۷۴۵ هزار کیلومرتی زمین عبور میکند .ممکن است
بگویید که این فاصلهای زیادی است ،اما این فقط سه برابر فاصله زمین به ماه است .رسعت این شهاب سنگ ۵۵هزار کیلومرت در ساعت است. سازمان فضانوردی آمریکا (ناسا) نام این شهاب سنگ را ۲۰۰۴BL۸۶گذاشته ،و میگوید که این نزدیکرتین شهاب سنگ به زمین در طی ۲۰۰سال آینده خواهد بود .ناسا این شهاب سنگ را در سال ۲۰۰۴کشف کرد. www.almashreqonline.com

ترک شہری کا حج کے لیے پیدل سفر حجاز کا قصد
پرانے وقتوں میں مسلامن دور دراز کے ماملک سے فریضہ حج کی ادائی کے لیے پیدل سفر کرتے اور ہزاروں میل کا فاصلہ طے کرکے بیت اللہ کے دیدار کا رشف حاصل کرتے لیکن آج کے دور میں جدید ترین ذرائع نقل و حمل کے ہوتے ہوئے ہزاروں میل پیدل سفر کرکے حج کو جانا ناقابل یقین خیال کیا جاتا ہے۔ مگر ترکی کے ایک مسلامن نے اس چیلنج کو قبول کرتے ہوئے آئندہ حج کے لئے پیدل حجاز مقدس کا سفر کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ العربیہ ڈاٹ نیٹ کے مطابق ترک شہری اقین ینیجیلی کا فریضہ حج کی ادائی کی خاطر ترکی کے دارالحکومت انقرہ سے اپنے پیادہ سفر کا آغاز کریں گے اور 3268 کلومیٹر کا فاصلہ طے کرنے کے بعد اللہ کے گھر میں حارضی دیں گے۔ دور حارض میں حج کے پیدل
سفر کی ایک انوکھی مثال ہے۔ ترک خرب رساں ایجنسی «اناطولیہ» سے بات کرتے ہوئے ینیجیلی کا کہنا تھا کہ میں اپنے سفر کا آغاز عیدالفطر کے بعد کروں گا اور روزانہ 50کلومیٹر اوسطاً سفر کرتے ہوئے حج کے موسم میں مکہ مکرمہ پہنچوں گا۔ اقین ینیجیلی ان دنوں مغربی اناطولیہ کے شہر «اوشاق» میں پیدل چلنے کی مشق کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ روزانہ اسٹیڈیم آتے ہیں اور 20کلومیٹر پیدل واک کی مشق کرتے ہیں۔ اس کا کہنا ہے کہ پیدل سفر کرنے کا مقصد عامل اسالم کو مسلامنوں کے حج کے مسائل کی طرف متوجہ کرنا ہے۔ اس کے عالوہ ترک حکومت کو بھی یہ پیغام دینا ہے کہ اس کی جانب سے حجاج و معتمرین کےلیے سہولتیں ناکافی ہیں۔
ایک سوال کے جواب میں ینیجیلی کا کہنا تھا کہ مجھے سفر میں سوائے امن وامان کے اور کوئی پریشانی نہیں ہو گی۔ مجھے بعض ایسے ملکوں سے گذرنا ہو گا جہاں پر امن و امان کی صورت حال خراب ہے۔ وہاں میرے لیے مشکالت پیدا ہو سکتی ہیں۔ خیال رہے کہ ینیجیلی ماضی میں میراتھن دوڑ کے کئی مقابلوں میں حصہ لینے کے ساتھ کئی مقابلے
جیت بھی چکا ہے۔ دوڑ کے مقابلوں میں اس نے اب تک 62 متغے بھی حاصل کر رکھے ہیں۔ کچھ عرصہ قبل اس نے اوشاق شہر سے انقرہ تک 370کلومیٹر کا سفر تین دن میں طے کر کے ترکی کے اس وقت کے وزیر اعظم اور حالیہ صدر سے مالقات کا رشف حاصل کیا تھا۔ اس کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ پیدل تو بہت چال ہے مگر ایک بار وہ بغیر وقفہ کیے 250 کلومیٹر تک چلتا رہا۔
نوجوان پاکستانی کرکٹرمحمد عامر پر لگی پابندی ختم انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ کونسل نے سپاٹ فکسنگ کے الزام میں پابندی کی زَد میں آئے ہوئے پاکستانی کھالڑی محمد عامر کو فوری طور پر اندرون ملک مقابلوں میں رشکت کی اجازت دے دی ہے۔ یہ بات آئی سی سی کی جانب سے ایک تازہ بیان میں کہی گئی ہے۔ آئی سی سی کی طرف سے یہ بیان جمعرات کو جاری کیا گیا ہے۔ پاکستانی ٹیم کے سابق کپتان سلامن بٹ اور بالر محمد آصف کے ساتھ ساتھ بائیس سالہ فاسٹ بالر محمد عامر پر بھی سن 2010ء میں انگلینڈ کے دورے کے دوران اور خصوصاً الرڈز میں کھیلے جانے والے چوتھے ٹیسٹ میچ کے دوران سپاٹ فکسنگ کے الزام میں پانچ سال تک کرکٹ مقابلوں میں حصہ لینے کی پابندی عاید کر دی گئی تھی۔ محمد عامر پر عاید کردہ اس پابندی کی مدت اس سال دو ستمرب کو ختم ہونا تھی تاہم آئی سی سی نے اپنے اینٹی کرپشن (اے سی ایس یُو) حکام کے ساتھ تعاون کرنے پر محمد عامر کو ابھی سے متام ڈومیسٹک مقابلوں میں رشکت کی اجازت دے دی ہے۔ پابندی کے خامتے کی خرب نرش ہونے کے بعد نیوز ایجنسی ‹اے ایف پی› کے ساتھ ٹیلی فون پر بات چیت میں محمد عامر نے کہا کہ ’یہ ا ُن کی زندگی کی سب سے بڑی خرب ہے‘۔ ا ُنہوں نے کہا کہ یہ ا ُن کی زندگی کا مشکل ترین دور تھا اور ا ُنہیں یقین ہے کہ یہ مشکل دور اب ختم ہو چکا ہے۔ محمد عامر نے کہا کہ وہ بے چینی کے ساتھ ا ُس وقت کے منتظر ہیں ،جب وہ پھر سے بین االقوامی میدانوں میں کھیل سکیں گے۔ عامر نے کہا کہ وہ بالنگ کرنا نہیں بھولے لیکن اب خود کو منوانے کے لیے اور بھی زیادہ کوشش کریں گے اور خود کو ’ایک بہرت کھالڑی اور ایک بہرت انسان‘ ثابت کرنے کے لیے کوشاں رہیں گے۔ سلامن بٹ ،محمد آصف اور محمد عامر نے برطانیہ میں قید کی بھی سزا بھگتی۔ آئی سی سی کی جانب سے ان تینوں پر کم از کم پانچ سال تک کے لیے ہر طرح کے کرکٹ مقابلوں
پاکستان ،بھارت میں جوہری تنصیبات، قیدیوں کی فہرست کا تبادلہ
اکستان اور بھارت نے نئے سال کے آغاز کے موقع پر اپنی جوہری تنصیبات اور اپنے ہاں ایک دورسے کے قیدیوں کی فہرستوں کا تبادلہ کیا ہے۔ پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان سنہ 1988ء میں طے شدہ ایک سمجھوتے کے تحت ہر سال یکم جنوری کو جوہری تنصیبات کا تبادلہ کیا جاتا ہے۔دونوں ماملک نے کسی حادثاتی جوہری تنازعے سے بچنے کے لیے ایک ٹیلی فون ہاٹ الئن بھی قائم کررکھی ہے۔ پاکستان کے دفرت خارجہ نے ایک بیان میں کہا ہے کہ نئی دہلی میں پاکستانی ہائی کمیشن اور اسالم آباد میں بھارتی ہائی کمیشن کے حکام کو جوہری تنصیبات کی فہرست حوالے کی گئی ہے۔دونوں ماملک نے قیدیوں کی فہرستوں کا بھی تبادلہ کیا ہے۔پاکستان نے اپنی جیلوں میں قید پچاس بھارتی شہریوں اور چار سو چھہرت مچھیروں کی فہرست بھارتی ہائی کمیشن کے حوالے کی ہے۔ بیان کے مطابق بھارتی جیلوں میں قید پاکستانیوں کی بھی ایسی فہرست نئی دہلی میں پاکستانی ہائی کمیشن کے حوالے کی گئی ہے۔البتہ پاکستانی قیدیوں کی تعداد نہیں بتائی
گئی۔دونوں ماملک قونصلر سمجھوتے کے تحت ہر سال دومرتبہ یکم جنوری اور یکم جوالئی کو ایک دورسے کی جیلوں میں قید شہریوں کی فہرستوں کا تبادلہ کرتے ہیں۔ واضح رہے کہ دونوں ماملک کے درمیان بحیرہ عرب میں سمندری حدود کا واضح تعین نہیں ہے۔مچھیروں کی کشتیوں پر جدید آالت نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے وہ اکرث ایک دورسے ملک کی سمندری حدود میں داخل ہوجاتے ہیں۔پھر وہ سکیورٹی حکام کے ہاتھ لگ جاتے ہیں۔انھیں گرفتاری کے بعد جیلوں میں ڈال دیا جاتا ہے۔وہ اپنی قید کی مدت پوری ہونے کے باوجود دونوں ماملک کے درمیان سفارتی تعلقات میں رسد مہری کی وجہ سے کئی کئی ماہ تک جیلوں میں قید رہتے ہیں۔ دونوں ماملک کے درمیان فہرستوں کےا س تبادلے سے رصف ایک روز قبل بھارتی بارڈر فورسز نے ضلع نارووال میں شکرگڑھ سیکٹر کی بین االقوامی رسحد پر فائرنگ کرکے چناب رینجرز کے دو اہلکاروں کو شہید کردیا تھا۔اس بال اشتعال واقعہ پر اسالم آباد میں بھارت کے ڈپٹی ہائی کمشرن کو طلب کرکے ان سے احتجاج کیا گیا ہے۔

عامر نے جب پاکستان کی قومی ٹیم کے لیے کھیلنا رشوع کیا تھا تو ا ُنہیں ٹیم اور ملک کے لیے ایک بڑا اثاثہ قرار دیا گیا تھا کیونکہ 2010ء میں الرڈز میں کھیلے جانے والے متنازعہ ٹیسٹ میچ کے دوران ہی وہ اٹھارہ سال کی عمر میں پچاس وکٹیں لینے والے کم عمر ترین کھالڑی بن گئے تھے۔ اینٹی کرپشن کے ایک نظر ثانی شُ دہ ضابطے کے تحت کوئی بھی کھالڑی اپنے اوپر عاید کردہ پابندی کے خالف آئی سی سی کے اینٹی کرپشن یونٹ اے سی ایس یُو سے اپیل کر سکتا ہے اور اپنی پابندی کی مقررہ مدت کے خامتے سے پہلے ہی دوبارہ کھیل کا سلسلہ جاری رکھنے کی اجازت مانگ سکتا ہے۔ پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ پی سی بی نے محمد عامر کی اپیل میں ا ُس کے ساتھ تعاون کا فیصلہ کیا تھا تاہم سلامن بٹ اور محمد آصف کے لیے کسی بھی طرح کی رعایت طلب کرنے میں تعاون کو خارج از امکان قرار دیا تھا۔ واضح رہے کہ پاکستان کے ایک اور کرکٹر اور لیگ اسپرن دانش کنیریا پر سپاٹ فکسنگ کے الزام میں 2012ء سے کرکٹ مقابلوں میں رشکت کی تاحیات پابندی چلی آ رہی ہے۔

بجائے خالصتاً اپنے جذبے کےساتھ ہیں۔ تاہم کہا جا رہا ہے کہ بعض اہل خانہ بھی بنی گالہ میں موجود ہیں۔ باسٹھ سالہ عمران خان اپنے اس جذبے سے پیرانہ سالی میں بھی وہ اس قدر مغلوب رہے ہیں کہ اپنے تاریخی دھرنے کے عین عروج کے دنوں میں لبوں پر اس منچلی خواہش کو ا ٓنے سے نہ روک سکے۔ پاکستان میں تبدیلی کو اس لیے رضوری قرار دیا کہ اس کے بعد وہ شادی کر سکیں گے۔
پاکستان میں اکٹھے تین طالقیں قابل سزا ُجرم! اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل کی تین طالقوں کی حوصلہ شکنی کے لیے سفارش پاکستان میں نافذ قوانین کو اسالمی رشیعت کے مطابق ڈھالنے کے ذمے دار آئینی ادارے اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل نے ایک وقت میں اکٹھے تین طالقوں کی حوصلہ شکنی کے لیے اس فعل کو قابل سزا جرم قرار دینے کی سفارش کی ہے۔ اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل نے اسالم آباد میں چئیرمین موالنا محمد خان شیرانی کے زیر صدارت اپنے دوروزہ اجالس میں متعدد سفارشات کی منظوری دی ہے۔اجالس میں کونسل کے گیارہ ارکان ،مذہبی ماہرین ،علامء اور محققین نے رشکت کی ہے اور انھوں نے زیر بحث آنے والے موضوعات پر سیر حاصل بحث کی ہے۔ موالنا محمد خان شیرانی نے بدھ کو نیوزکانفرنس میں کونسل کی جانب سے کہا ہے کہ بیک وقت اکٹھی تین طالقیں غیراسالمی اور رشیعت کے منافی ہیں اور ایک خاوند کی جانب سے بیک وقت بیوی کو تین طالقوں کو قابل سزا جرم سمجھا جائے گا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ ‹›رشیعت میں طے شدہ طریق کار کے مطابق ایک خاوند اپنی بیوی کو ایک وقت میں ایک ہی طالق دے سکتا ہے››۔واضح رہے کہ پاکستان میں نافذ اسالمی عائلی قوانین کے مطابق ایک شخص کو اپنی بیوی سے عالحدگی کے لیے تین مرتبہ طالق دینا پڑتی ہے اور تب ہی یہ طالق قانونی طور www.almashreqonline.com
پر مؤثر ہوتی ہے۔ طالق کے موجودہ قانون کے تحت ایک مرد اپنی بیوی کو یونین کونسل یا عدالت کے ذریعے طالق کے تین الگ الگ نوٹس بھجواتا ہے اور اس کے بعد دونوں کے درمیان عالحدگی ہوجاتی ہے۔ اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل نے وضاحت کی ہے کہ ایک طالق کے بعد خاوند کو اپنی بیوی سے رجوع کرنے کا حق حاصل ہے ،دورسی طالق کے بعد وہ دونوں میاں بیوی دوبارہ نکاح کرکے اکٹھے رہ سکتے ہیں لیکن تیرسی طالق کے بعد وہ کسی صورت اکٹھے نہیں رہ سکتے ہیں۔اس صورت میں اب وہ عورت اپنے اس سابقہ خاوند سے براہ راست نکاح نہیں کرسکتی ہے۔پہلے اس کا کسی مرد سے نکاح ہوگا۔وہ اگر اس کو طالق دے دیتا ہے تو پھر وہ اپنے خاوند کے عقد میں آسکے گی۔رشیعت میں اس عمل کو حاللہ کہتے ہیں۔ اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل کی اس سفارش پر تبرصہ کرتے ہوئے کراچی سے تعلق رکھنے والے معروف عامل دین مفتی محمد نعیم نے کہا ہے کہ ‹›ایک وقت میں تین طالقوں کو جرم قرار دینا مناسب نہیں ہے۔اس امر کو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سخت ناپسندیدہ رضور قرار دیا ہے لیکن اس کو جرم قرار نہیں دیا تھا››۔ موالنا شیرانی نے تین طالقیں دینے والے خاوند
کے لیے اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل کی جانب سے قید یا جرمانے کی صورت میں کوئی سزا تجویز نہیں کی ہے بلکہ اس کو متعلقہ عدالتوں پر چھوڑ دیا ہے کہ وہ جو چاہیں سزا دے سکتی ہیں۔انھوں نے صحافیوں کو بتایا کہ اسالمی نظریاتی کونسل نے خواتین ججوں کے لیے یہ سفارش کی ہے کہ وہ حجاب اوڑھیں اور انھیں اسالمی رشیعت کے مطابق نقاب کرنا چاہیے۔ نظریاتی کونسل نے اپنے اجالس میں کم عمر بچوں کو سنائیں سنانے سے متعلق بل کو مسرتد کردیا ہے اور اس کو غیر اسالمی اور نامناسب قرار دیا ہے۔اس نے حکومت کو مشورہ دیا ہے کہ وہ اس ضمن میں ایک نیا بل تیار کرکے پیش کرے۔ کونسل نے یہ بھی سفارش کی ہے کہ 14 اگست کو اس کی قومی اہمیت کے پیش نظر ایک رسکاری دن کے طور پر منایا جائے۔نیز پاکستان میں کسی بھی ناگہانی واقعے کی صورت میں ‹›ایام سیاہ›› یا یوم سوگ نہیں منائے جانے چاہیئں۔ کونسل نے ملک میں فرقہ وارانہ بنیاد پر تشدد کی مذمت کرتے ہوئے حکومت پر زوردیا ہے کہ وہ فرقہ واریت کے خامتے کے لیے ایک ضابطہ اخالق مرتب کرے۔کونسل کے ارکان نے اس دوروزہ اجالس میں پاکستانی عوام میں بین املذاہب ہم آہنگی کے فروغ کے لیے اقدامات پر بھی غور کیا ہے۔

پڑتا ہے تاکہ وہ اپنی جان بچا سکے۔ ایک گیمنگ ویب سائٹ ‹کوٹاکو› کے مطابق امریکا میں سال 2013کے دوران ایک نو سال کے بچے کو سکول میں متعدد ہتھیار لے کر آنے پر جج نے گھر میں نظر بندی کی سزا سنا دی تھی۔ بچے کے مطابق اسے ایسے اقدامات اٹھانے کے لئے حوصلہ افزائی مائن کرافٹ کے کردار سے ملی تھی۔ امریکا میں والدین کی راہنامئی کے لئے موجود ویب سائٹ ‹کامن سینس میڈیا› نے گیم میں کھیلنے والوں کی تخلیقی صالحیت بڑھانے پر تعریف کی مگر انہوں نے بتایا ہوا ہے کہ گیم کے دوران کھالڑی کو جارح بالئوں کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا جن کے مقابلے کے لئے تلواروں اور تیر کامن کا استعامل کرنا پڑے گا۔
ایردوآن کے محل کی سیکیورٹی پر 20ملین ڈالر اخراجات

کیمرے نصب کیے گئے ہیں۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق ترکی میں انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں کی تحقیقات کرنے والے ادارے کے لیے رصف چار ملین لیرے کا بجٹ فراہم کیا گیا ہے جبکہ صدر کے شاہی محل کی رصف حفاظت اور سیکیورٹی کے لیے پچاس ملین لیرہ کی رکھی گئی ہے۔ مصطفی اخبار لکھتا ہے کہ جدید ترکی کے بانی ٰ کامل اتاترک کے دور میں بنائے گیے صدارتی محل کی موجودگی کے بعد کسی نئے شاہی محل کی کوئی رضورت نہیں تھی۔ یہ محل بھی قومی خزانے سے بنایا گیا ہے۔
