When air gets into your system, this problem arises. Professionals from pool cleaning company advise to check three places to find if air is getting into your system.

Check the Skimmer: If your pool doesn’t contain enough water, it means your skimmer might be pulling in air. However, before concluding, you need to make sure that water level is in the middle when you open skimmer.

It is also important to check the condition of skimmer basket. It should be seated properly and does not get any damaged. This activity helps you to ensure good water suction.

Apart from this you need to check the weir as it regulates water flow into your skimmer. If they get jammed, it affects the smooth functioning of skimmer. So, make sure that it’s freely moving back and forth.

Check the pump: If the pump lid gets cracked, then you may face this problem. Bend the Lid’s Oring and check for any signs of cracking and if you find any crack it means you need to replace a ring.

You need to also check pump basket. If it is not seated properly, it means it also gets cracked.

Also, make sure that drain plugs are not leaking. If they are loose use drain plug threads for a tighter seal.
