What is the wheel of wellbeing? Body – be active: Regular physical exercise is associated with a greater sense of wellbeing and lower rates of depression and anxiety across all age groups.

What is the wheel of wellbeing? Mind – keep learning: Adult learning has been linked with positive effects on wellbeing, and reports of life satisfaction and optimism.

What is the wheel of wellbeing? Spirit – give: Individuals who report a greater interest in helping others are more likely to rate themselves as happy.

What is the wheel of wellbeing? Place – take notice: Being trained to be aware of sensations, thoughts and feelings in the present time and place, has been shown to improve wellbeing for several years.

The brief invites you to use your design and research skills to discover, define and develop interventions: – that initially raise awareness around the Wheel of Wellbeing for maintaining good mental health (awareness) – and ultimately change behaviour by driving Londoners to adopt the 6 ways to wellbeing in their day-to-day-life (action)
