What made you decide to become a foot health practitioner?
Samantha - I was doing my nursing and midwifery training and whilst working as a carer for a lady alongside this, I found that there was a lack of good foot care available in the local area. I then started
taking an interest in this and decided to retrain. Now I’m so glad I did as I love helping people with their everyday foot health problems Jo - My mum had an ingrown toenail so I went with her to the chiropodist. He asked if I was interested in training so I sat with him and watched whilst I was doing the course.

Samantha - I’m hoping to bring more practitioners on board, expanding the selection of treatments available. We currently have foot health and orthotics but next to come is micro suction for ears and also hopefully aesthetics! Both should be available from the beginning of April so watch this space! Jo - For myself I would like to do an extra clinic or 2 . I currently do Monday and Thursday in the clinic and other days I am out doing home visits, it would be nice to have another day in clinic.
