A LETTER FROM CEO: 5 CHALLENGES THAT WILL NEVER LEAVE HRS ALONE
Dear HRs Congratulations for converting the interview and finally being selected as the most promising HR of the company. By this time you might have received the induction session as well understanding the company’s business. Let us make you aware why HR is the most important job in a company and what challenges you are going to face in your career when it comes to handling HR. 1. The big lies from Candidates To get the job, candidates can go to any extend. Lying in resume is like any days activity. At first look you must be able to recognise if the profile is genuine or crap. Even at the time of interview most of the candidates do not hesitate to lie about their past experience, qualifications and much more. Make sure you have collected and verified each document presented by the candidate. 2. Very generic and boring cover letter Life is too short to read boring cover letters. But as the flow of applications starts to increase, reading them is going to be your daily routine. Now you may take it in two directions, reject the application and increase efforts on searching more; or get connected with such candidates and try to train them on how they can write an acceptable cover letter. 3. Candidates never come on time or even no show Late arrival of candidates will always be the point of worry for you. But the worst of all would be the ‘no show’ after confirmation. When all the arrangements are done for the interview process, interviewers have dedicated their busy schedule to you, and candidates might ditch you at the last moment. To save yourself from coming under bad lights, make sure you are well networked with the candidates and keep yourself updated on their activities.
