SUPPLEMENT STRATEGY
4 DAYS PRIOR
Load with three Cramp Block tablets twice daily.
THE MORNING OF PROLOGUE
Take two Cramp Block tablets one hour before the race. Sip half a serving of Epic Pro 2 at the start of the race. Carry a hydration backpack filled with Epic Pro 2. Take a full serving of Pro Recover immediately after the prologue with four tablets of Cramp Block.
BEFORE & DURING EVERY STAGE
Take two Cramp Block tablets before breakfast. Sip half a serving of Epic Pro 2 leading up to the start. Carry a hydration backpack filled with Pro Enduro. Take another full serving of Epic Pro 2 at each water point. Take one Cramp Block for every hour of riding. Consume Vooma Energy gels, Vooma Endurance bar or Iso Gel during your ride. Optional: Caffeinated Vooma Energy gel or Vooma Endurance bar before the last hour of the race.
AFTER EVERY STAGE
Take a full serving of Pro Recover immediately after each stage. Sip Zero Sugar Hydrator for the rest of the day. Take another full serving of Pro Recover two hours after your first post-race meal. Take two Cramp Block tablets before bed.
CRAMP BLOCK
Phosphate loading for strength, endurance, recovery and fatigue reduction.
The harder your body works, the higher your demands for phosphates and electrolytes (your body’s ‘salts’) are. When you’re depleted, you compromise strength, endurance and physical and mental energy. Cramp Block should therefore be used daily.
Maintain your phosphate saturation with 2-4 tablets daily
For phosphate loading leading up to a race: Start 4-5 days prior by taking 6-8 tablets daily and then 2-4 tablets the morning before your race. In the case of stage races, take another four tablets after each stage
