STUPID MASCULINITY
Masculinity is not really about what you wear. I think you can see it in your mannerisms, in your personality and that’s where it shows.

For me personally, masculinity has always played a huge part in fashion. I think classic is good, but it's also nice to reinvent.
— JosephI think masculinity is all about being responsible for yourself and others, in all that you do and all that you say. I think owning the things that you do is the most important part of masculinity. Taking responsibility is important.
— LukeMasculinity is not a tangible thing. It is something we have made up; we now acknowledge that gender and sex are different things. We have made up masculinity and femininity as a way to understand ourselves and to categorise these two groups of people, which are very distinct on their own. When it really comes down to it, my definition of masculinity is pretty much identical to my definition of femininity. The only difference is I identify more with masculinity. Marmalade —
When I think of masculinity, I immediately think of toxic masculinity. I think of football and rugby, which have cult followings; these stereotypes are what make any positive meaning of the word impossible.
Masculinity is a social construct, always changing, not set in stone, but fluid. It’s just changing.
— SamI think masculinity is becoming more ambiguous and less defined. It has become more about doing something boldly and presenting yourself with confidence.
— AlexI feel that there are so many rules being put into place by people who have underlying insecurities. People who think they have power feel that they have the right to push their ideologies onto everyone else, when actually masculinity is just a word. I think masculinity is becoming obsolete and that people are becoming open to fluidity within gender. Some people don’t want to be a soldier, some people want to be a makeup artist or a fashion designer or an activist, whatever you want to be, go and do it.
Everyone has views, everyone has different opinions on what masculinity is.
— KhrisIt’s a powerful word, I’m comfortable being me. Sometimes, I wear either more masculine or more feminine clothes; I’ve reached a point where I’m comfortable being me. Yes, I’m gonna have looks, but whatever, I am me.
