Yn ystod y cyfnod hwn o adfyfyrio yn fy mywyd, rwy’n edrych yn ôl i weld mor bell rwyf wedi dod gyda ffotograffiaeth ac i ba gyfeiriad rwy’n bwriadu parhau i archwilio. Rwyf wedi gosod safon uchel i fi fy hun trwy fy mharodrwydd i geisio perffeithrwydd, trwy fy awydd di-baid ac angerddol i ddysgu technegau ac arddulliau newydd. Bydd hyn yn fy ngalluogi i gyrraedd y gynulleidfa a’r cleientiaid rwyf wedi’u targedu a gwneud yn fawr o fy llawn botensial fel ffotograffydd.

Nid dim ond yr hyn rydw i’n ei wneud yw ffotograffiaeth – dyma pwy ydw i. Mae fy nghamera wedi dod yn estyniad ohonof fy hun, ac yn caniatáu i fi edrych drwyddo i fframio gwrthrych, a chipio harddwch yr hyn sydd o fy mlaen. Bydd yn foment na ellir byth ei hailadrodd, ond eto wedi’i rhewi am byth mewn amser. Fy nod fel ffotograffydd ffasiwn yw adrodd straeon, mynegi emosiynau a chreu celf ffotograffig drawiadol all swyno cynulleidfa. Mae gan ffotograffiaeth yn ei holl ffurfiau rym i drawsnewid a dymchwel rhwystrau ieithyddol a diwylliannol, i ddod â phobl ynghyd drwy rannu gwerthfawrogiad o harddwch a chelf.

During this reflective period of my life, I look back to see how far I have come with photography and which direction I intend to continue exploring. I have set a high standard for myself through my own willingness to seek perfection, through my own relentless and passionate desire to learn new techniques and styles. This will allow me to reach my targeted audience and clientele and maximise my full potential as a photographer.

Photography is not just what I do, it is who I am. My camera has become an extension of myself, and allows me to look through a view finder to frame a subject, capturing the essence of beauty that is in front of me. It will be a moment that can never be repeated, yet forever frozen in time. My aim as a fashion photographer is to tell stories, express emotions and create stunning photographic art that can captivate an audience. Photography in all its forms has the power to transform and break through language and cultural barriers, to bring people together through a shared appreciation of beauty and art.

Rwy’n mwynhau fy mynegi fy hun yn y presennol fel y mae... neu fel yr oedd ar adeg creu’r ddelwedd. Mae oedi ac addasu’r gosodiadau camera i ddal y naws a’r teimladau a gefais bryd hynny yn bwysig i fi. Mae eiliadau o’r fath yn brofiad unigryw sy’n caniatáu i fi ymbellhau rhag gweithgareddau’r meddwl, y cyfuniad o drafferthion neu bryderon sy’n rhan o’r cyflwr o fod yn fod dynol.

Mae cipio gweithred naturiol syml, planhigyn dŵr mewn golau ysgafn neu len yn siffrwd ar yr awel, yn dathlu’r eiliadau ffwrdd-â-hi byr rydyn ni’n aml yn eu colli. Yn y gweld mae’r pleser. I roi bywyd i hyn, mae’n hanfodol bod ymarferydd yn arafu, yn byw yn y foment a mwynhau’r grefft o ganiatáu.

Rwy’n trysori’r eiliadau hyn ac yn anelu at gynhyrchu mynegiant byw ohonynt. Dyffryn gyda’r nos lle mae goleuadau stryd yn dawnsio’n ddi-ffocws, neu enfys ennyd dros heol lwyd â hen bolion telegraff simsan: i fi mae’r rhain yn mynegi’r un ansawdd. Mae’r ddau yn cynnig yr un cyfle i gipio rhywbeth unigryw: y foment bresennol fyw, fel yr oedd yn y fan a’r lle. Dim mwy... a dim llai.

I enjoy expressing myself through the present moment as it is... or as it was during the time of making an image. To stop and adjust the camera settings to capture the mood and feelings I had at that time is important to me. Such moments are a unique experience that allow me to detach from the activities of the mind, a mixture of troubles or worries that come with being human. To capture a simple act of nature, like some pondweed in soft light or a curtain blowing in the breeze, celebrates both the mundane and the brief moments we often miss. The pleasure is in the seeing. For this to be realised it is essential as a practitioner to slow down, live in the moment and enjoy the art of allowing.

I treasure these moments and aim to produce a living expression of them. A valley at night where streetlights dance in bokeh, or a momentary rainbow suspended over a grey stretch of road with battered telegraph poles: to me these express the same quality. They both offer the same opportunity to capture something unique: the living present moment, as it was there and then. No more... and no less.
