Admissio Requireme ts a d Tuitio Admission Requirements

First-time Freshmen • Students must have a 3.0 GPA and 19 ACT or SAT equivalent OR 2.7 GPA and 21 ACT or SAT equivalent. • UT Martin uses the super scoring method of combining test scores into a new composite score. • Any student not meeting regular admissions requirements will be considered for admission into our conditional admission program. Spots are limited, so apply early. Transfer Students • Students who have completed 12 hours of college-level courses must have a 2.0 college GPA to be admitted. You can also enroll in classes at our centers located in Jackson, Parsons, Ripley, Selmer and Somerville.

University Scholars • • • •

University Scholars is the premier UT Martin Honors program for up to 15 incoming first-year students. Qualifying students receive $5,000 per year/$20,000 for four years. UT Martin wants you to Soar in Four by taking 15 credit hours per semester to complete your undergraduate degree in four years. Typical expenses for the 2017-18 academic year: Full-time Tuition & Fees (in-state): $9,236/year Full-time Tuition & Fees (out-of-state): $14,996/year Housing (Ellington/Browning): $2,730/year Books (estimated): $1,400/year Meal Plan (10-meals/week): $3,140/year Total (in-state): $16,506/year Total (out-of-state): $22,266/year All tuition and fees estimated based on 2017-18 costs. Students residing outside of Tennessee are considered out-of-state, except residents of Fulton, Graves and Hickman counties in Kentucky. Tuition and fees may be adjusted annually. Each year, a group of sport business students attends the Super Bowl and works in hospitality to get a behind-the-scenes look at the planning and execution of a high-profile event.

UT Martin offers numerous faculty-lead travelstudy programs and study abroad opportunities.
