¢ The Tennessee Volunteers (15-16, 5-10 SEC) travel to visit Middle Tennessee State (19-16, 11-4 Conference USA) on Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. ET for a midweek matchup in Murfreesboro, Tenn. ¢ The Volunteers send freshman lefthander Zach Warren (2-0) to the mound on Tuesday, as UT looks to improve upon its 33-22 all-time record against the Blue Raiders. ¢ Tennessee owns a 16-6 all-time record against the Blue Raiders in games played in Murfreesboro, Tenn. ¢ The schools are tied at 5-5 over their last 10 matchups since 2009. ¢ The last game scheduled game between Tennessee and MTSU was March 3, 2015 in Knoxville. Due to rain and inclement weather conditions, the game was halted in the third inning and following a 74 minute delay, was ultimately cancelled. ¢ Junior outfielder Christin Stewart continues to rank among league leaders in multiple offensive categories this week, with 10 home runs (4th), 33 RBI (T-7th), nine times hit by a pitch (T-3rd) and a .682 slugging percentage (3rd). ¢ Sophomore second baseman Nick Senzel holds a .364 batting average entering competition this week, the 12th-best mark in the SEC. His five triples on the year are also tied for first in the league. ¢ While Tennessee’s squad leads the SEC with 38 sacrifice bunts in 2015, the Vols’ all-time sac bunt leader A.J. Simcox has recorded eight of his own, which is tied for first in the league. ¢ On the hill, Tennessee’s staff ranks fourth in the SEC with a .235 opposing batter’s average and is tied for fourth with 11 saves. ¢ Junior Andrew Lee’s six saves in 2015 are tied for fourth-most in the SEC. ¢ Righthander Bret Marks has recorded 68 strikeouts this season, second-most in the league. His .184 opposing batter’s average also ranks third, while he currently sits in seventh place in total innings pitched with 56.1.
