¢ The Tennessee Volunteers (18-21, 7-14 SEC) host the No. 3-ranked Texas A&M Aggies (38-7, 13-7 SEC) for a three-game series beginning Friday, May 1 at 6 p.m. ET at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. ¢ In four overall meetings between Tennessee and Texas A&M since 2005, the Aggies hold a 3-1 advantage including a series win in Knoxville on May 16-18, 2013. ¢ With the three-game series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, the Vols will look to take their firstever series win over the Aggies, having also played Texas A&M during the 2005 College Classic Tournament at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas (L, 10-1). ¢ In their last regular season matchup, Tennessee closed out its 2013 campaign on a high note, defeating Texas A&M, 7-5, on Senior Day. ¢ Junior outfielder Christin Stewart continues to rank among league leaders in multiple offensive categories this week, with 12 home runs (3rd), 11 times hit by a pitch (T-2nd), 39 RBI (10th) and a .652 slugging percentage (2nd). ¢ Sophomore second baseman Nick Senzel’s five triples on the year are tied for third in the league.

 The Tennessee Volunteers were predeicted to finish fourth in the SEC Eastern Division, as voted by the league’s 14 head coaches.  Tennessee, which has won six total SEC championships (3 regular season, 3 tournament), received 51 points.  With 11 first-place votes, the Vanderbilt Commodores were predicted to win the 2015 title. Florida (2) and LSU (1) also received first-place votes.
