¢ Saturday’s game is the 110th all-time meeting between Tennessee and Kentucky. UT owns a 76-24-9 all-time series edge vs. UK, and the 76 wins represent the most over any Tennessee opponent. ¢ Tennessee has won 28 of its last 29 meetings over Kentucky since 1985, including 14 consecutive wins in the series at Neyland Stadium since 1986. Overall, the Vols are 40-10-6 vs. the Wildcats in Knoxville. ¢ The Vols have consecutive double-digit wins in the series following a stretch in which six of nine games from 2003-12 were decided by 10 points or fewer. In the last 10 meetings since 2004, half have been decided by six points or fewer. ¢ UT has scored 24 or more points in seven of the last eight meetings and have allowed 14 or fewer points in four of the last six series games.

¢ Tennessee won their second consecutive game over South Carolina in a 45-42 OT win in Columbia on Nov. 1. UT improved to 4-5 on the year and 1-4 in the SEC. ¢ The 14-point, fourth-quarter comeback (SC led 4228) was the largest for UT since overcoming a 15-point deficit (24-9) to defeat Vanderbilt 25-24 on Nov. 17, 2007. ¢ UT was down 14 with 4:52 remaining, marking the most dramatic comeback win in school history. Tennessee had never trailed by so much so late in the game and ended up winning the game. ¢ The win marked the 11th overtime victory in Tennessee, tying Missouri for the all-time NCAA lead. ¢ QB Joshua Dobbs was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after becoming the first UT quarterback to pass for 300 yards (301) and rush for 100 yards (schoolrecord 166) in a game.
