2012 Drive Year Begins! As we prepare for the 2012 Drive Year, we want to start off by saying thank you for your hard work as Volunteer Representatives toward last year’s successful campaign. The 2011 drive saw over $425,000 raised in new Tennessee Fund annual contributions through your efforts. This achievement would not have been possible without your hard work and dedication in helping us make Tennessee great! This year, we hope to continue to build upon last year’s great success. In order to do this, we once again need your help. Below is a graph showing the new money raised by the Vol Rep Program over the past four years. As you know, the program has recently expanded into new areas, and we have brought over 150 new Vol Reps into the fold. We are looking forward to having the best drive year yet in 2012! Vol Rep Kick-Off meetings are currently underway, and our staff will be visiting you and discussing the latest updates in Tennessee Athletics at upcoming events in your area. We look forward to working with each and every one of you throughout the year!

October - November Vol Rep Competition!!! During the course of the year, we will be holding periodic Vol Rep competitions for various rewards, and we are excited to announce this year’s first contest. Last month, we launched the 2012 football season ticket reservation website, which allows new donors to select their seats and make their required annual gift to secure this location for next season. We would like to encourage you to direct any potential new members to this website to sign up for season tickets. The Vol Rep who signs up the most new donors or increased current donors through our new 2012 football season ticket reservation website will win a pair of West Club tickets for the Vanderbilt game on November 19th! The 2012 football season ticket reservation website can be accessed by visiting www.tennesseefund.org and clicking on the “2012 Football Tickets” link on the left hand side of the page. If a new donor makes the gift online, please be sure to have them enter your name as their Representative in the appropriate field to ensure that you receive credit in the competition. If a new or current donor finds tickets via the website and would prefer to make their gift over the phone, please feel free to contact our office at 865-974-9168.

We will be traveling throughout the state of Tennessee (and beyond) starting in November to meet and visit with donors and fans. We encourage you not only to attend these events but to bring other Tennessee fans in your area with you! The Winter Tour is a great way to introduce potential new members to the Tennessee Fund and staff in a relaxed setting. Each event will be centered around a viewing party of the Vol or Lady Vol basketball game that evening, and appetizers will be provided. You can use this information to get in touch with any donors who are assigned to you!
Your Fearless Leader! Lucas Moss joined the Tennessee Fund staff in August 2011 to lead the Vol Rep Program. Lucas is a native of Columbia, TN and returns to the Tennessee Fund office after working at the University of Pittsburgh. He will be the main point of contact for all Vol Reps.
