A TENNESSEE WIN WOULD...  Extend UT’s current win streak to three games  Give the Vols a three-game win streak in the series  Be UT’s first true road win of the season  Snap a five-game winless streak in true road games

¢ The Vols are looking to extend their current win streak to three games Saturday. But to do so, they must log their first true road win of the season (0-5). ¢ Prior to his hiring at Tennessee, Cuonzo Martin posted a 1-1 coaching record against Arkansas during his tenure at Missouri State. ¢ When these teams met last season, Arkansas was without talented big man Marshawn Powell, (knee injury). This season, UT is in a similar situation with decorated forward Jeronne Maymon, who is redshirting due to a knee injury. ¢ The Vols are coming off back-to-back one-point victories. The last time that happened was during the 1962-63 season (UT defeated Denver 59-58 on Dec. 29, 1962, and Florida State 66-65 on Jan. 2, 1963). ¢ Tennessee started SEC play 1-4 last season and rallied to finish second in the league at 10-6. The Vols also started SEC play 1-4 this season and have now rallied to win two straight. ¢ Sophomore power forward Jarnell Stokes has 15 offensive rebounds in the last two games. In SEC play, he is tied for the league lead in rebounding with 9.6 rpg. ¢ In SEC play, Vols junior Jordan McRae ranks second in the league in scoring (18.9 ppg). ¢ Tennessee remains just one of three teams to have beaten No. 15 Wichita State this season. The Shockers (19-3) are 18th in the latest NCAA RPI. That Vol victory is the best win, RPI-wise, by an SEC team this season.
