UT is 11-3-2 all-time against Ole Miss. Tennessee is 4-2-1 against the Rebels when facing them in Knoxville. UT has won three straight against Ole Miss. ¢ Oct. 21, 2012, in Oxford, Miss. Tennessee 2, Ole Miss 1: Mandy McCalla gave Ole Miss a 1-0 lead with an eighth-minute score. Amy Harrison netted the equalizer in the 11th minute off of a corner kick and Hannah Wilkinson punched in the winner in the 80th. ¢ Oct. 7, 2011, in Knoxville, Tenn. Tennessee 4, Ole Miss 3 OT: This match was arguably one of the greatest comebacks in UT soccer history. Ole Miss’ Dylan Jordan scored goals in the 13th, 31st and 32nd minute to give the Rebels a 3-0 lead heading into the half. In the 59th minute, Amy Harrison headed in a cross from Emily Shore. Emily Dowd knocked in a deflected shot in the 61st minute. Caroline Brown raced in from the right wing for the equalizer in the 80th minute. In the 92nd minute, Chelsea Hatcher scored from just inside the right 18 for the winner. ¢ Oct. 10, 2010, in Oxford, Miss. Tennessee 3, Ole Miss 1: Mandy McCalla scored in the 13th minute to give Ole Miss the lead, but a 19th minute own goal by the Rebels evened the match at 1-1. Caroline Brown scored the winner in the 24th minute and Emily Dowd beat the keeper from the endline in the 88th to give UT a two-score win.

Freshman Amy Neal is coming off a breakout performance on Sunday as she scored two second-half goals to ignite a Tennessee rally at Alabama. After UT
¢ The Rebels offense is tied for eighth in the nation at 3.00 goals per match. The team has scored three or more goals six times this season with three five-goal performances. ¢ Ole Miss’ road contests have been much closer than its home ones this season. In six contests away from Oxford, the team’s margin of victory is one goal. In six home games the Rebels’ margin of victory is 3.2 goals. ¢ Selective shot selection has been a big part of Ole Miss’ success so far this season. The team leads the SEC with 3.0 goals per match but ranks eighth in the league with just 13.83 shots per match. ¢ Rafaelle Souza leads the SEC with 28 points off 11 goals and six assists. Teammate Mandy McCalla, the 2012 SEC Offensive Player of the Year, ranks fourth with 21 points off nine goals and three assists. ¢ The Rebels have great offensive pressure and that is reflected in their SEC-high 91 corner kicks, or 7.58 per match. ¢ Even with all of those goals, Ole Miss has played disciplined up top with the second-fewest offsides calls per contest at 1.25.

Neal is the first Tennessee freshman to score a goal this season. She is the first Tennessee freshman to score in over a year as the last was Gabby Santorio’s 59th minute goal at Mississippi State on Sept. 23, 2012.
FRIDAY’S CAPOCACCIA FAMILY REUNION
Friday’s match marks a family reunion of sorts for the Capocaccia sisters. Tennessee senior Caroline Capocaccia and sophomore Suzanne Capocaccia will go against little sister Melissa Capocaccia, a starting defender for Ole Miss. The sisters last played together during the 2009-10 school year -- Caroline’s senior season at at St. Agnes Academy in Memphis, Tenn., when Suzanne was a sophomore and Melissa was a freshman.

Caroline Brown has scored 10 of her 23 career goals and tallied nine of her 18 career assists in SEC regularseason play. Julie Eckel is 17-8-2 all-time in SEC play with 115 saves and a 0.96 GAA.
BACK-TO-BACK VS. RANKED OPPONENTS
This weekend marks the first time in over two years that Tennessee is facing two ranked opponents in the same weekend. UT hosts No. 25 Ole Miss on Friday and No. 17 South Carolina on Sunday. Tennessee last played back-to-back ranked opponents with it fell, 2-1, to then-No. 8 UCLA on Aug. 26, 2011, before taking a 1-0 win over then-No. 18 Texas A&M on Aug. 28, 2011, in the First Tennessee Lady Vol Classic at Regal Soccer Stadium.
