EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

EXCELLENT ECKEL
UT sophomore goalkeeper Julie Eckel has allowed just 12 goals in 21 games this season. She has a 0.586 GAA, which ranks 21st in the nation. The UT single-season record for GAA is 0.68 set by Vanessa Phillips-Bosshart back in 2004. Eckel’s 0.854 save percentage is tied for 28th in the nation.
SUPER D
With 11 shutouts on the year and a back line led by All-SEC honoree Ali Hall, Tennessee features one of the nation’s elite defenses. UT’s team goals-against average of 0.591 ranks 13th among all NCAA Division I teams.
NICE TO MEET YOU
