BIG ORANGE ROLLS BEST WEEK EVER!

¢ Senior midfielder Amy Harrison enjoyed an amazing Week 1, scoring four goals in UT’s wins over Samford and Western Kentucky. Her two multi-goal games were the first two of her Tennessee career. ¢ Harrison garnered three major awards for her Week 1 heroics. On Monday, she was named TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Women’s College Player of the Week and the SEC Offensive Player of the Week. On Wednesday, Soccer America named Harrison to its Women’s Team of the Week.

SOME IS GOOD, MOORE IS BETTER

¢ Sophomore Iyana Moore has made some major strides early into her second season in Orange and White. In the season opener vs. Samford, she recorded three assists to tie the program record last tied in 2003 by Sue Flamini. ¢ As a freshman in 2011, Moore played 187 minutes and had two assists in 10 games off the bench. Through just two games in 2012, Moore has made two starts, played 105 minutes with three assists.

BONUS POINTS

SWEET CAROLINE: Junior forward Caroline Brown leads the team with four assists, half her total of eight from 2011. SUNSHINE STATE CONNECTION: UT’s two transfers from ACC Florida schools, CC Cobb (formerly of Florida State) and Ashlee Burt (formerly of Miami) teamed up for a goal against Western Kentucky. In the 43rd minute, Burt headed in a beautiful free kick from Cobb.
