Friday’s match marks the fifth-ever meeting between Tennessee and Middle Tennessee. UT is 4-0 all-time against the Blue Raiders. ¢ Last Meeting - Tennessee 2, MT 0 (9/2/11): Emily Dowd scored in the 82nd and the 83rd minute and Caroline Brown assisted on both goals. The teams have played just once before in Murfreesboro. UT took a 4-0 win on Oct. 16, 1996. UT has outscored Middle Tennessee, 15-1, over the four-game history of the series.
SIRNA EARNS TDS TEAM OF THE WEEK HONORS
On Tuesday, Allie Sirna was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week. Sirna has been the backbone of the UT defense this season, anchoring the middle of the back line. This past weekend, she helped Tennessee posted a pair of shutout victories vs. Dayton and Mercer and extended its consecutive shutout streak to 329:12. Sirna played the full 180 minutes last week and she is the only Tennessee field player to play the full 90 minutes of each match this season.

Tennessee is currently riding a streak of 329:12 of shutout defense. The last goal UT allowed was to UCF’s Jennifer Martin in the 21st minute (20:48) on Aug. 30.
WILKINSON’S GOAL STREAK
Junior forward Hannah Wilkinson has scored in four consecutive matches. She scored goals from Aug. 30-
Sept 8 vs. UCF, James Madison, Dayton and Mercer. In 2012, Wilkinson scored her eight goals in two four-game stretches. The first one spanned from Sept. 14-Sept. 23 with goals against Alabama, Vanderbilt, Florida and Mississippi State. The second stretch was from Oct. 14-25 with goals against LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Georgia.

Several Tennessee players set new career highs last weekend. Sophomore Suzanne Capocaccia, who played just 25 minutes as a freshman in 2012, played a career-high 59 minutes in the win over Mercer. Gabby Santorio notched an assist vs. Dayton and played the full 90 minutes in both matches. Susan Ferguson played a career-best 69 minutes against Dayton. Freshmen also had a big week last week with Amy Neal (37 vs. Dayton) and Cali Hutson (38 at Mercer) logging new career-highs in minutes and Aaran Parry played seven minutes in her career debut vs. Dayton.

Tennessee returns to Regal Soccer Stadium on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match against Western Kentucky. Admission is free to all 2013 Tennessee regular-season home matches. The Tennessee soccer program will host a free youth soccer clinic on the field following the UT-WKU match on Sunday. The match will feature a free live video broadcast on UTSports.com with Brian Rice as the play-by-play announcer, Tori Beeler Watson as the analyst and Dani Klupenger as the sideline reporter.
