Last Five Meetings: Alabama leads, 3-2 Last Meeting: UA W, 5-3, May 31, 2012, in WCWS (in OKC) Alabama used a four-run first to take control of the game early. Melissa Davin hit a two-run shot in the top of the second and Raven Chavanne drove in a run in the top of the seventh, but UT could not climb back from the early deficit. The Lady Vols combined for five hits and three walks off Crimson Tide ace Jackie Traina. Last Regular Season Meeting: UT W, 5-2, March 21, 2012, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Tennessee won the second half of a twinbill in Alabama after the Crimson Tide won the first game, 3-2. The Lady Vols ended Alabama’s 26-game winning streak as Melissa Brown hit a three-run homer in the second and Madison Shipman crushed a solo shot in the fifth.
