• This can become the fourth Lady Vols squad since 1992 and first since 2003 with 10 non-conference victories (2003, 2001, 1992).

y SCORING SYSTEM

SCOUTING UNLV

• Ranked 67th, UNLV is Tennessee’s 15th ranked opponent in 17 matches. • The Rebels have also shutout five opponents, and have won by at least five points in all of their victories but one. • After wining three of four, UNLV lost last weekend, 5-2, to Fresno State. • UNLV is led by No. 59 Lucia Batta, who is 3-6 vs. ranked opponents.

BACK ON TRACK

• Tennessee is looking for its first consecutive wins since stringing together four in a row (Northwestern-UCF). Its season-high winning streak is five (UC Davis-Baylor). • The Lady Vols are coming off their fifth shutout of the season at Mississippi State (7-0). UT swept the doubles point and won in straight sets on five of six singles courts.

New to the college game? All that matters is which team gets to four points first. In dual matches, teams first play a best-of-three doubles competition. Whichever team wins two of the three matches earns one point. Teams then play six singles matches, each worth one point. The team that takes four of the seven total available points wins the match. (Note: Doubles matches are eight-game pro sets. Singles matches are best-of-three sets.)
