SCOUTING ARKANSAS
• Ranked 37th, Arkansas is Tennessee’s 17th ranked opponent in 19 matches. • Tennessee and Arkansas have one common opponent, with both schools taking down Ohio State by a 4-3 advantage. • Arkansas split two Friday matches, defeating Oral Roberts (5-1) but falling to Georgia (7-0) at home. • Tennessee is 21-4 all-time against the Razorbacks, including an 11-1 mark in Knoxville. AGAINST LSU
• Playing without Brynn Boren and Natalie Pluskota in singles, UT entered Friday’s match at LSU with just five in the lineup. UT won the doubles point, before LSU won five straight singles contests to take a 5-1 lead. Sarah Toti picked up UT’s lone singles win for the final 5-2 score.
New to the college game? All that matters is which team gets to four points first. In dual matches, teams first play a best-of-three doubles competition. Whichever team wins two of the three matches earns one point. Teams then play six singles matches, each worth one point. The team that takes four of the seven total available points wins the match. (Note: Doubles matches are eight-game pro sets. Singles matches are best-of-three sets.)
