• This is the Tennessee basketball program’s third annual OUTLIVE game, and a white-out is planned for Thompson-Boling Arena. The Vols are 2-0 in OUTLIVE games, having defeated Florida in 2009 and Kentucky in 2010. To learn more about OUTLIVE, see Page 2. • Bruce Pearl and his family have once again purchased 3,000 OUTLIVE t-shirts to give to UT students who attend Saturday’s game. And Earlier this week, UT Athletics Director Mike Hamilton Tweeted that he would donate $1 to OUTLIVE for every new Twitter follower he gained before Saturday’s game. • Tennessee has won nine its last nine home games against Georgia, has won 14 of the last 16 in the series and holds a 10-1 edge over the Bulldogs during the Pearl era. • Saturday provides the Volunteers with an opportunity to sweep its regular-season with Georgia for the fifth time in Bruce Pearl’s six years on Rocky Top. • Bruce Pearl shook up Tennessee’s point guard rotation earlier this week. In the win over South Carolina on Wednesday, sophomore Skylar McBee served as the backup to Melvin Goins at the point. • Junior All-SEC candidate Scotty Hopson is averaging 22.5 points in UT’s last two games. The Vols are 15-4 this season when the Hopkinsville, Ky., native scores at least 15 points. • Tennessee’s average home attendance this season stands at 18,548. That ranks fourth nationally behind Kentucky, Louisville and Syracuse. • UT boasts the nation’s No. 1 “strength of schedule.” See Page 3 for a few reasons why. • Tennessee has six wins over teams in the top 50 of the most recent NCAA RPI (Pittsburgh, Villanova, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Georgia, Missouri State). • UT recently announced plans to retire Louisville, Ky., native Allan Houston’s (1990-93) No. 20 during a halftime ceremony before the March 6 Kentucky game at Thompson-Boling Arena.
