• Sunday marks the final game in Thompson-Boling Arena for six Tennessee seniors. Each will be honored during a pregame Senior Day ceremony. The group has played a role in 98 UT wins. • UT will retire Louisville, Ky., native Allan Houston’s (1990-93) No. 20 Sunday during a halftime ceremony. Houston’s 2,801 career points are a Tennessee record and rank second in SEC history. • Under head coach Bruce Pearl, the Vols have never failed to reach the 20-win mark or make the NCAA Tournament. A berth in this year’s tournament would be UT’s sixth straight—a school record. • Tennessee is looking to avoid its first eight-home-loss season since 1994-95 (7-8). • UT boasts the nation’s No. 1 strength of schedule (RPIratings.com). See Page 3 for a few reasons why. • Tennessee has seven wins over teams in the top 50 of the most recent NCAA RPI (Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt [2x], Villanova, , Memphis, Georgia, Missouri State), and more than half of UT’s wins have come against top-100 RPI teams (11). • SEC Sixth Man of the Year candidate Brian Williams (back injury) has not practiced or played since Feb. 26, and the senior did not travel with the Vols to South Carolina earlier this week. • Junior All-SEC candidate Scotty Hopson ranks 25th on Tennessee’s career scoring list with 1,261 points. He has scored 20 or more points in seven SEC games and averages 19.8 ppg in league play. • Freshman All-America candidate Tobias Harris has eight double-doubles. Among all freshmen in the six “major” conferences, he ranks fourth in both rebounding (7.5) and scoring (14.6). • This matchup features five former McDonald’s All-Americas in Tennessee’s Scotty Hopson and Tobias Harris and Kentucky’s Terrence Jones, Brandon Knight and Doron Lamb. • Tennessee’s average home attendance this season stands at 18,791. That ranks fifth nationally behind Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville and North Carolina.
