Ellen Renfroe threw a six-inning shutout with nine strikeouts. ¢ Rainey Gaffin threw a six-strikeout, six-inning no-hitter in her first start as a pitcher in UT’s 9-0 (6) Game 2 win. Gaffin is the first player to throw a no-no in her first start in the circle since Monica Abbott did it in 2004. ¢ UT is batting .337 as a team and averaging 6.56 runs per game. Freshman Annie Aldrete is hitting a team-high .455 (20-for-44) with six doubles, one triple, two homers and 15 RBIs.
