Football Training Center Update
Strength & Conditioning Room Floor
As we have mentioned in previous editions of the Orange Juice, the 6irst stage of the football team’s move into the new Football Training Center has taken place, and our student-athletes now have access to some of the newly completed areas, including the strength and conditioning room. The 24,000 square foot 6loor hosts an impressive 28 reengineered squat racks to enhance the lifting exercises that the whole team can perform at one time. Customized lifting platforms have been installed to keep the weight room 6loor even to increase safety. The weight room 6loor also contains a “Pro-Day” alertness area, which includes hitting sleds to measure speed and reaction time, a sight reaction board to measure visual responses, and a physical awareness ring that professional martial arts athletes can use to practice.
