Men’s & Women’s Basketball Release Schedules
After a successful summer of accolades for both basketball programs, the Men’s and Women’s basketball schedules for the 2013-14 season have been announced. Highlights for the Men’s schedule include non-conference matchups against NC State, Xavier, Wichita State, as well as a trip to the Bahamas in the Battle-4-Atlantis tournament. The Women’s slate includes match-ups against Texas, Notre Dame, North Carolina, as well as a trip to the Bahamas in the Junkanoo Jam. Cronan Receives Accolade
We are excited to welcome back fans to Neyland Stadium for what should be an exciting football season under new head coach, Butch Jones. Joan Cronan, UT women’s athletics director emeritus, consultant and advisor to the chancellor, was honored with the YMCA Lifetime Achievement Honoree. This award is considered East Tennessee’s foremost accolade for contributions of local women. Cronan joins fellow Vol, Pat Summitt, as a recipient of this highly esteemed award.
