¢ Tennessee is 40-14 all-time against Kentucky and 2-1 against the Wildcats at neutral sites. ¢ Tennessee is coming off a three-game sweep of Kentucky to close the regular season. Annie Aldrete and Shaliyah Geathers hit walk-off home runs on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, to give UT its fourth SEC series win of the year and its third SEC series sweep. Rainey Gafffin earned the win in all three games. ¢ Last week Tennessee hit .288 (21-for-73) against the Wildcats’ pitching staff. The Wildcats hit .232 vs. UT’s pitchers.

¢ Tennessee is 27-24-1 all-time against LSU and 11-13-1 agaisnt the Tigers in Baton Rouge. ¢ LSU took two out of three in the teams’ 2015 series in Knoxville from April 10-12. ¢ The Lady Vols hit .294 (25-for-85) against LSU. The Tigers hit .274 (23-for-84) against Tennessee pitching.

¢ Tennessee is 22-19 all-time in SEC Tournament play and won the league’s tournament title in 2006 and 2011. ¢ Wednesday’s game against Kentucky will mark the second-straight year that the Lady Vols and the Wildcats faced off in UT’s SEC Tournament opener. In 2014, No. 7 seed Kentucky upset No. 2 seed UT, 2-0, in the quarterfinals.

MILESTONES
¢ Ralph Weekly recorded his 1,200th win when Tennessee defeated Mississippi State, 16-8 (6) on April 19. He became the ninth coach to reach the 1,200 mark. He currently ranks ninth all-time in career victories and fifth among active coaches. ¢ UT’s victory over Alabama on April 23 marked Ralph Weekly’s and Karen Weekly’s 700th win as Tennessee’s co-head coaches. It was also the program’s 300th SEC win (conference play).
