¢ Having wrapped up the non-conference portion of the season with a 7-7 mark, Tennessee opens up SEC play on the road at Arkansas. ¢ Friday marks the 33rd meeting between the two programs, with UT holding a slim 17-16 edge in the series. The Lady Vols and Razorbacks have met at least once in every season since 1994. ¢ Tennessee dropped the last meeting to Arkansas, falling 3-1 at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville. UT is 8-8 all-time at home against the Razorbacks. ¢ Historically, the Lady Vols have fared slightly better against Arkansas in matches played in Fayetteville. UT has won its last six matches at Arkansas and is 8-6 there all-time. ¢ Head coach Rob Patrick is 16-14 in his career against Arkansas and has earned victories in 10 of the last 12 meetings. ¢ From the second half of 2007 through the end of 2011, Tennessee reeled off nine straight wins vs. Arkansas -- the longest winning streak in the series for either side. THE MISSOURI MATCH

12:00 p.m. ET

¢ Tennessee has met Missouri fewer times than any other conference foe. The Lady Vols and Tigers have met just five times in a series that dates back to just 2005. ¢ In last season’s lone meeting, Missouri topped UT by a 3-0 score line. That win was the first for the Tigers in Knoxville, lifting them to 20-0 on the season. ¢ Tennessee and Mizzou met for the first time on Sept. 4, 2005, at the Tiger Invitational. On that day, a Mizzou squad ranked 21st in the country swept the Lady Vols, 3-0. ¢ The two sides would met again that same year as Tennessee came away with one of the biggest wins in program history, topping the eighth-ranked Tigers 3-1 in the Regional Finals of the NCAA Tournament. The win sent the Lady Vols to their first-ever Final Four. ¢ Missouri is the reigning SEC champion after finishing the 2013 season at 34-0 with a perfect 18-0 conference mark. ¢ Mizzou is without graduated SEC Player of the Year Molly Kreklow, but returns All-American outside hitter Carly Kan and All-SEC middle blocker Whitney Little.
