THOMAS TAKES THE MOUND ¢ Junior Blake Thomas will be making his second career start when he takes the mound in Murfreesboro on Tuesday. ¢ His first start came last Tuesday when he fired 6.1 strong innings against Virginia Tech to lead the Vols to a 5-4 victory in the Hokie-Smokey Classic at Pioneer Park in Greeneville, Tenn. ¢ Thomas allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits while striking out four in his fourth career appearance at UT.
