A TENNESSEE WIN WOULD...  Give the Vols a three-game win streak in the series  Give the Vols their first consecutive road wins of the season  Give the Vols their third victory in their last seven trips to Memorial Gym.  Give the Vols a 17-12 record vs. teams coached by Kevin Stallings

¢ Tennessee is looking to record its sixth series sweep over Vanderbilt in the last 13 years. The Vols swept the Commodores in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2011. During that span, Vandy swept the Vols just twice (2005 and 2010). ¢ Just 181.63 miles separate UT’s ThompsonBoling Arena in Knoxville and Vanderbilt’s Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville. ¢ Tennessee’s 112 wins over the Commodores are the most by the Vols over any opponent, and only Kentucky (215 games) has been an opponent of the Vols more times than Vanderbilt. ¢ Interestingly, only two of the 10 projected starters in Wednesday’s game are Tennessee natives (Stokes and Johnson). ¢ In the first meeting between these teams this season, Vandy had a 27-17 edge in bench scoring. ¢ Sophomore power forward Jarnell Stokes is riding a streak of five straight double-doubles, and he has a double-double in six of UT’s last seven games (nine total this year). ¢ Stokes is the reigning SEC Player of the Week. ¢ No SEC player has more than Stokes’ nine double-doubles this season (Murphy Holloway of Ole Miss and Johnny O’Bryant III of LSU also have nine). ¢ Junior guard Jordan McRae leads the SEC with 35.8 minutes played in league games this season. He also ranks third with 16.2 ppg in SEC play. ¢ Vanderbilt’s Kedren Johnson has some Big Orange in his bloodlines. See Page 3. ¢ Tennessee currently ranks eighth nationally in average home attendance (16,686).
