GAME 27 SET-UP #11/10 Tennessee (21-5/12-1 SEC) and Arkansas (17-9/5-8 SEC) meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. Central (2 p.m. ET) at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark. This marks the 26th time these programs have gotten together. The game will be televised on the SEC Network (MyVLT in East Tennessee), and ESPN3 will provide online coverage. The Lady Vols, who stand alone atop the SEC standings, are coming off an 83-61 home victory over Auburn on Thursday night, running their current winning streak to four games. UT won for the sixth time in a row over AU and improved to 18-2 vs. the Tigers at home. Tennessee has triumphed in 16 of its last 17 games vs. SEC foes, dating back to last season, including eight in a row at home and seven of its last eight on the road. Arkansas saw a two-game victory string clipped on Thursday night, as No. 13/12 Georgia claimed a 66-34 triumph in Athens, holding the Razorbacks to a season-low and SEC program-low point total. Tennessee has built an 8-3 record on the road this season, including 5-1 in league play, Arkansas is 9-4 at home, but only 2-4 vs. SEC schools, including 1-3 in the last four league games at Bud Walton Arena. Tennessee was the SEC runner-up a year ago (27-9/12-4 SEC) and was picked to finish fourth this season by the media and fifth by the coaches. Arkansas finished in a tie for fourth in the SEC last season (24-9/10-6) and was predicted to place eighth by the media and ninth by the coaches in the SEC race this season. Tennessee is 478-71 (.871) all-time vs. schools who are current members of the Southeastern Conference, including 329-45 (.880) in the regular season.

ON THE AIR
THE SEC RACE IS ON Tennessee had won 18 in a row in the series vs. Arkansas and had not lost to the Razorbacks in Knoxville until last season, when the Lady Vols fell in overtime, 72-71, on Feb. 23 at Thompson-Boling Arena. That upset derailed UT’s attempt to win the SEC regular-season title in 2012, clearing a path for Kentucky to capture the trophy. The Lady Vols again find themselves in first place in the SEC standings as they prepare to play Arkansas. UT stands atop the league at 12-1, followed by Kentucky and Texas A&M in a tie for second at 11-2. Georgia is third at 10-3. The Lady Vols play Texas A&M in Knoxville at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28.
