GAME 14 SET-UP #12/13 Tennessee (10-3/1-0 SEC) and #10/11 Georgia (13-1/1-0 SEC) will meet for the 60th time, facing off Sunday at 1:04 p.m. Eastern time in a game that will be televised live on SportSouth and streamed by ESPN3 (subject to blackout). Tennessee is coming off a 73-53 road win over #18/15 South Carolina on Thursday night to open the SEC slate. The Lady Vols enter the contest on a three-game winning streak, defeating Davidson, #NR/RV Rutgers and #18/15 South Carolina over a seven-day span. UT capped that three-game run on Thursday night with a roster featuring only nine healthy players. Georgia began league play on its home court by handling Missouri, 77-46, on Thursday evening. The Lady Bulldogs bounced back with a win vs. the Tigers following their first loss of the season, a 70-59 setback at Illinois on Dec. 28. Tennessee was the SEC runner-up a year ago (27-9/12-4 SEC) and was picked to finish fourth this season by the media and fifth by the coaches. UGA finished third in the league last season (22-9/11-5) and was predicted to place second by both the media and coaches.

COMMON FOES, COMMON SHOWS Both teams claim home victories over Rutgers and road triumphs over Georgia Tech during the current campaign. Tennessee defeated the Yellow Jackets, 71-54, on Nov. 11 in Atlanta, earning its first win of the season and Holly Warlick’s initial head coaching victory. The Lady Vols stymied Rutgers, 66-47, on on Dec. 30 in Knoxville. Georgia opened its season with a 57-51 home win over Rutgers on Nov. 11, while the Lady Bulldogs handled rival Georgia Tech, 6050, in Atlanta on Dec. 2.
