GAME EIGHT SET-UP #14/14 Tennessee (5-2) attempts to win its first road game of 2014-15 and extend its victory string to two games Sunday, as it travels to Nashville to face Lipscomb (2-5) in Allen Arena at 2 p.m. CT/3 p.m. ET. The contest can be seen online via ESPN3, with Justin Seamon and Brittany Jackson providing the call. A “Watch Live” link can be found on the Lady Vol Hoops Central page on UTSports.com. Mickey Dearstone’s Lady Vol Network call can be heard on the radio on network stations statewide and via audio stream worldwide on UTSports.com. The Lady Vols are coming off a 111-44 domination of Saint Francis (Pa.) on Wednesday in Knoxville, running their home record to 5-0. The victory helped Holly Warlick’s squad bounce back from the disappointment of consecutive road losses at Chattanooga (6367) and #6/9 Texas (59-72) on Nov. 26 and Nov. 30. Lipscomb, meanwhile, is coming off an 80-60 road loss to Music City rival Belmont at the Curb Event Center. The Lady Bisons fell to 1-3 away from home and are just 1-2 on Don Meyer Court at Allen Arena. Tennessee is 1-1 this season against schools from the Volunteer State, having toppled Tennessee State (97-46) in Knoxville and dropped a 67-63 decision to the Lady Mocs in Chattanooga. Sunday’s game is only the second in the UT-LU series, so it will mark Tennessee’s first visit to the Lipscomb campus for a women’s basketball game.

#14/14 TENNESSEE LADY VOLS (5-2) vs. LIPSCOMB LADY BISONS (2-5)
Lift the UT program’s all-time record to 1,253-281 in its 70th season. Improve Holly Warlick’s record as head coach to 62-16 overall and 26-11 on the road. She is 36-5 in Knoxville. Raise the Tennessee seniors’ career record to 89-25. Improve UT to 2-0 vs. LU and teams from the Atlantic Sun Conference. Give Tennessee its first road victory this season after two defeats.
COMMON THREADS There are at least four common threads weaving together the Lady Vol and Lady Bison squads. Lipscomb head coach Greg Brown was a graduate assistant (2002-03) and assistant (2003-04) at Tennessee, where he worked beside Holly Warlick and helped the Big Orange women win two SEC titles and earn a pair of NCAA runner-up finishes.
