GAME 12 SET-UP #8/11 Tennessee (9-2) faces its fourth ranked opponent of the season and second in a row from the Pac-12 when #10/12 Oregon State (10-0) brings its undefeated record to Thompson-Boling Arena on Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. ET. For the third game in a row, the Lady Vols will appear on the SEC Network, with Sam Gore and Nell Fortner in Knoxville to call the action. The contest also can be seen online via WatchESPN. A “Watch Live” link can be found on the Lady Vol Hoops Central page on UTSports.com. Mickey Dearstone’s Lady Vol Network call can be heard on the radio on network stations statewide in Tennessee and via audio stream worldwide on UTSports.com. The Lady Vols are 2-1 vs. ranked foes thus far, dropping a 72-59 decision at #6/9 Texas on Nov. 30, overcoming #17/19 Rutgers on the road (55-45) on Dec. 14 and shutting down #7/7 Stanford in Knoxville on Dec. 20, 59-40. Tennessee played perhaps its best game of the season last time out, ending a threegame series losing streak to #7/7 Stanford with an impressive 59-40 domination of the Cardinal on Dec. 20. With the victory over SU, the Lady Vols won their fifth game in a row and extended their home winning spree to 11 games, including seven this season The contest vs. Oregon State will be Tennessee's last vs. a non-conference foe until the Lady Vols play their final out-of-league tilt at #4/4 Notre Dame on Jan. 19. The Beavers make their first trip to Rocky Top on the heels of a pair of victories in the New Orleans Shootout on Dec. 19 and 20. OSU beat Southern Illinois, 71-55, and then followed with a 73-50 romp over Nevada to keep its mark unblemished and record all 10 wins by double-digit margins. Oregon State’s signature win this season came on Dec. 16, when it traveled to Chapel Hill and walked away with a 70-55 victory over #6/6 North Carolina. That win by OSU came against the highest ranked team the Beavers have ever beaten on the road.
