GAME SIX SET-UP  #4/5 Tennessee (4-1) plays its second straight road game and first ranked opponent of the season on Sunday, as the Lady Vols face #6/9 Texas (4-0) at the Frank Erwin Center (16,540) at 5:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. ET.  The game also will be Tennessee’s first televised contest of the season, with FOX Sports 1 providing the telecast. Ron Thulin (PxP) and Brenda VanLengen (color analyst) will have the call. Their broadcast also will be live streamed on FOX Sports GO.  Mickey Dearstone’s Lady Vol Network call can be heard on the radio on network stations statewide and via audio stream worldwide on UTSports.com.  What was expected to be a Sunday showdown of undefeated teams was derailed in Chattanooga Wednesday night, as #4/5 Tennessee was upset, 67-63, by unranked Chattanooga (4-2) at The McKenzie Arena.  The loss ended a string of 13 straight wins over unranked foes by the Lady Vols, dating back to a 74-63 setback at Vanderbilt on Jan. 12, 2014.  It also provided Tennessee its first taste of defeat this season after the Lady Vols defeated their first four opponents by an average score of 91.5-46.2.  The Longhorns held up their end of the bargain Wednesday night, taking down UT Pan American (3-3), 72-45, in Austin, to improve to 4-0.  Texas faced future Tennessee opponent Stanford on Nov. 20, and the Cardinal had just taken down #1 UConn and moved to No. 1 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Longhorns pulled off a major upset in Maples Pavilion, 87-81, in overtime.  Tennessee owns a 23-12 record in the alltime series with Texas, bringing a five-game head-to-head win streak into Sunday evening’s contest.  Tennessee just completed a six-day swing with three games vs. Winthrop (Nov. 21), Tennessee State (Nov. 24) and Chattanooga (Nov. 26).  The game vs. the Longhorns also caps off a calendar week of three games vs. Tennessee State, Chattanooga and Texas.
