BOART LONGYEAR: ADVANCED LEADERSHIP PROGRAM Boart Longyear’s Advanced Leadership Program is an investment into you and your future! You are a person within the organization who makes a significant impact; Boart Longyear wants to recognize that and help you go further! In participating in the ALP, you will be showing your commitment and talents for leadership within your current role and building a path for advancement within the organization. During the course, you will have the opportunity to learn at your own pace online and participate in a live session on Zoom with your colleagues. Participation in the live session on Zoom help show your supervisors the takeaways from the world-class material presented by the University of Utah faculty members. You already possess the leadership qualities valued at Boart Longyear, and in the ALP, the courses will help prepare you for the next leadership steps within our organization. Covering a wide range of topics, from ethics and emotional intelligence to finance and leading high-performing teams, you will leave this program as a transformed leader. In addition, you will walk away with leadership tactics to immediately implement in your organization and ideas promoting growth across your team and organization.

Presenting Faculty | Jennifer Cummings, Ph.D. Dr. Jennifer Cummings is an Associate Professor (Lecturer) in the Management Department at the David Eccles School of Business and a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Utah.

Presenting Faculty | Abe Bakhsheshy, Ph.D. Dr. Abe is the David Eccles School of Business Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Director and Professor (Lecturer) of Organizational Behavior in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy.

Presenting Faculty | Patricia Gorman, Ph.D. Dr. Patricia (Trish) Gorman is is a globally recognized strategy expert, author, consultant, and professor at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.

Presenting Faculty | JB Henriksen, MBA JB Henriksen is a principal in the firm Advanced CFO Solutions. He currently serves as the Acting CFO for several high-growth companies in the software, wholesale, and medical space. JB is an active member of the Salt Lake City Angels and the Utah entrepreneurial community, mentoring many growing businesses.
