How to Refresh Monitors in the GARFF Building
1.
Bring a standard office keyboard with a USB cord (see image) to the monitor that needs to be refreshed. Pull the monitor away from the wall by placing both hands on either side and pulling with a fair amount of force.
2.
Behind the monitor, locate the black box with USB ports and an Intel sticker on it (see image). Plug the keyboard into one of these USB ports.
3.
Once the keyboard is plugged in, press “Ctrl” and “R” on the keyboard at the same time to refresh the monitor.
4.
Once reset, the monitor’s display should return to normal. Unplug the keyboard, push the monitor back onto the wall, and ensure that the display is running properly.
