CFA Institute University Affiliate
The Chartered Financial Analyst Institute aims to promote the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence as a global leader of the investment profession. In turn, our MSF curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management, and the program is dedicated to providing resources for students to sit for the CFA exams, for which our pass rate is 46% higher than the national average.
CAIA Academic Partner
The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association partners with academic institutions around the world to promote education and professionalism in the alternative investment industry at the earliest career stage. Our students benefit from this through access to scholarships, CAIA networking events, and CAIA publications.
STEM Designated Program
Utah’s MSF degree is a STEM program, meaning international students holding an F-1 visa are eligible for up to 36 months of post-graduation OPT. Students can utilize the MSF career coach to find and secure employment and work in the U.S. for up to three years after completing the program.
