A tangible impact of the program is higher earning potential. It’s been raise, raise, raise for every single job that I’ve had throughout the program, which has been phenomenal. At work, I’m able to speak more intelligently and informedly about different aspects of the projects we’re working on.

The University of Utah — it’s definitely a brand name. I wanted to be able to leverage that ranking and reputation later on. And I know that they have a very strong alumni network, which was really important to me.

EARN YOUR DEGREE IN 24 MONTHS
It is totally worth it because of the return on investment. Honestly, this degree is going to pay off itself. My employer assured that I would get a pay raise once I’m done with the program. That pay raise alone, over a couple of years, will pay for the tuition. Eventually, it really is like getting a free education.

TWO CLASS NIGHTS PER WEEK
I really liked the hybrid format. Knowing that you only have to be on campus one day a week makes it easier to plan out your week. Additionally, having one remote day a week makes it so that you can be a little more flexible with travel, work , or other plans as well.

WORK WHILE YOU EARN YOUR DEGREE
There were numerous instances where I found cross-applicability between school and work, which is to say that there were many skills I learned in the MBA program that I was able to take back to work and implement as I was going.

STUDENTS AVERAGE SIX YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE
Sitting in a room with people who were incredibly intelligent in all areas of business, where I was approaching it from a background in science, was really helpful. I really enjoyed learning from my classmates who were a lot smarter than I was when it came to some of the business stuff.

I’ve felt very confident about what this program has provided me. Involving my workplace leadership in my career plan really helped them see how hard I was working to contribute in my role and for my team. I’ve seen raises during the two years that I’ve been in the program, and I can confidently say that I’ll continue to see an ROI as I progress and deliver a meaningful return and value for myself and my company.
