For more information or to register for a program contact park staff at (435) 628-2255. Johnson Canyon ranger-guided hikes offered twice weekly through April & May. If you haven’t been by Snow Canyon’s park headquarters lately, stop in with your family on your next opportunity and explore the new exhibits! From wildlife to wildflowers and geology to human history, colorful and interactive panels offer visitors information on many of the frequently asked questions about Snow Canyon. Hands-on displays also offer visitors a chance to touch a Gila monster skull, ancient grinding stones, and a tortoise shell! Donations from park visitors made this educational display possible. We look forward to your visit this spring!

Utah State Parks invites you to join us for ROCKIN' Utah 2010... it's Family Fun Outdoors 101! Would you, your family or friends like to play outdoors more but just aren't sure where to start? Let us show you how! Desert Wildlife Detectives Saturday, May 22 Snow Canyon State Park Young detectives needed. Children 5-12 will hike and decipher clues left by animals. Make a wildlife track t-shirt or bandana to take home. Space is limited; pre-registration required. There is a $10 fee per family.
