OUR GREAT CITY

Knoxville, TN Atlanta, GA Nashville, TN Birmingham, AL Asheville, NC Louisville, KY Memphis, TN

Blending a small town feel with mid-size city amenities, Chattanooga is the perfect college town. Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, on the edge of the Tennessee River, Chattanooga is a top destination for outdoor recreation. The only city to win Outside magazine’s “Best Town Ever” contest twice, students don’t have to venture far to explore the great outdoors. Nicknamed “the Scenic City,” Chattanooga has been recognized as a top travel destination by Southern Living, The New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler and many more. Located right next to campus, students can take advantage of a vibrant downtown with dozens of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Chattanooga’s 10-gigabyte internet ushered in a wave of start-up companies and established businesses settling in the city. Featured in Inc. magazine as one of the best places to start a business, a city-wide business-friendly and entrepreneurial culture gives students many opportunities for internships, research projects and post-graduation employment.
