Chick-fil-A opened in late August at the Madison Plaza Food Court. This was a long anticipated opening for the entire campus. The grand opening was a huge success with students, staff, faculty, patients and visitors from surrounding areas attending to check out the new facility and of course the menu. Great job to facilities teams that worked on the project along with Contractor, LaGasse Construction and Project Manager, Ray West. Thank you to carpenters, painters, electricians, HVAC and the fire safety officer. From photos below, you even see UTHSC’s very own Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Kennard Brown (first photo), ordering breakfast on the morning of the Grand Opening. Don’t forget to stop in and get fresh food prepared daily, on-site!
