EMPLOYMENT SPOTLIGHT UTHSC offers endless opportunities for Professional Development for its employees. We enjoy the opportunity for tuition assistance, formal classes and online training. Future issues of HR Reporter will offer career tips to our employees in pursuing their UTHSC career aspirations. This issue offers two tips that can assist employees related to resume writing and interviewing. Resume tip: When writing your resume, write it with the reader in mind. Use numbers wherever possible to quantify your accomplishments and show the volume of your impact to the organization. This could include number of employees supervised, number of projects handled simultaneously, cost savings amount, number of customer calls handled on a daily basis or number of locations for which you were responsible. Interview tip: Carefully review the job posting or position description again prior to the interview. Be prepared to discuss specific examples of how you meet each of the requirements and be prepared to discuss your specific success stories in areas/projects similar to the duties of the position for which you are interviewing. Help the hiring manager see how you might be the best candidate for the position.
Once you select UT Systems Policies it will redirect you to Policy Tech. You will then click the Policy Tech button and enter the policy name in the search box.
