PROGRAM DETAILS The Diversity Passport Program (DPP) is designed to have members of the UTHSC community see, participate, taste, learn, listen, read and immerse themselves in a diverse and inclusive Memphis! The DPP will allow for students, trainees, faculty and staff to actively engage in communal reflections of diversity on campus and beyond! It serves to encourage attendance to existing programs/events as well as offer new opportunities for the campus community to experience diversity and inclusion in a multitude of new, fun, informative and exciting ways. To obtain a certificate of completion for the Diversity Passport Program, participants must accumulate twenty-five points (25) between October 7, 2020 and April 2, 2021. Fifteen (15) credits are pre-selected, five (5) credits are electives and therefore up to you to pick, and five (5) credits for the final activity. Participants who achieve up to thirty (30) points will be eligible for a prize in addition to the certificate. Participants will receive a certificate of completion signed by OED’s very own assistant vice chancellor/ chief diversity officer, Dr. Michael Alston! Additionally, UTHSC employees will be eligible for HR128 credit for any applicable programming efforts.
