“We wrote our own vows, and our ceremony was just us. It just felt so authentically us. Hanging from my bouquet were pictures of my mama and my late pup, and it felt like they were right there with me. Alex was such a good sport for all the pictures, and I really can’t imagine anything different! My advice for other couples is do it your way! I’m all about tributes to family members or honoring your family in special ways, but don’t do things that you’re not into because of everyone else! You want to think back on the day and smile. It should be easy, fun, authentic, and it should be something the two of you will always remember with sweet, happy thoughts.”
