The UTSA Art Gallery is pleased to host the 2014 Mid-America College Art Association Members Exhibition. The participating artists pursue a broad array of aesthetic, intellectual, and cultural interests. Their creative energies transform traditional approaches, generate new techniques, experiment with formal concerns, and investigate conceptual relationships. Together, they provide a multi-faceted view of contemporary art. We are honored that Paula Owen, President of the Southwest generous and creative commitments as an artist, curator, and advocate for the arts are inspirational. This exhibition is made possible through the hard work of Laura Crist, John Hooper, Vikky Jones, Marissa Del Toro, and Willie Sanchez. Scott A. Sherer, PhD Associate Professor of Art History, and Director, UTSA Art Gallery and Satellite Space
