SYLVIE STOJANOVSKI

Arts Management Toronto, Ontario

Sylvie had a passion for both arts and business, so she decided that Arts Management would be the perfect program for her. She loves the opportunities for experiential learning and independent research both inside and outside of the classroom. “I like the small class sizes and the chance to develop strong working relationships with professors. The Arts Management program provides a good balance of theoretical and practical courses, which helps students to either go straight into the field, or pursue graduate studies.”

Sylvie combined her love of arts, community and leadership as the Director of Community Relations & Development and Festival Lead for ARTSIDEOUT. The festival transforms U of T Scarborough with site-specific installations, exhibitions, performances and film screenings.

“Being part of ARTSIDEOUT has been one of the highlights of my university experience. I was able to put the concepts and theories I learned in class into practice—from planning and implementing the festival’s first-ever high school outreach tour and executive leadership retreat, to eventually leading the organization’s largest festival yet!”
