A Streetcar Named Desire By Tennessee Williams October 10–19, 2014 Oscar G. Brockett Theatre In the sultry streets of New Orleans, passions flair and cultures collide in Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece. Blanche DuBois, a fading relic of the Old South, searches for refuge at her sister’s home, only to collide with reality in the form of Stanley Kowalski, her brutish brother-in-law. Provocative and lyrical, A Streetcar Named Desire is a commanding landmark drama by one of the great voices of the American Theatre.
“A struggle for survival, Streetcar is a crushing duel between desperate romanticism and determined realism, where love, understanding and compassion are clucked and clattered by unwavering truth and indomitable selfpreservation.” —entertainment.ie

The Blue Angel is created by Dominique Serrand, Steven Epp, Nathan Keepers and Christina Baldwin of The Moving Company, former members of the Tony Award-winning Theatre de la Jeune Lune.
“That’s where Moving Company always takes us in the pieces they develop: to the edge where desperate-butstill-trying teeters… I love that they never play it safe.” —How Was The Show
“Watson-Wallace has a gift for making pockets of space fill infinite… wild imagination ruled.” —The New York Times
“Bell has a lot working in her favor: powerful, daredevil dancers and an almost garish imagination capable of dreaming up surreal scenarios... a slick intensity dominates her onstage worlds.” —The New York Times
