Famous for juicy steaks, local wines, and sultry tango, Buenos Aires offers an exciting backdrop for your study abroad adventure. The city’s European roots are still evident in stunning architecture and grand plazas that wouldn’t look out of place in Paris or Madrid, but the vibe is pure Argentine. Edgy art galleries, chic boutiques, and inviting cafés line the bustling streets, side-by-side with tango bars, ice cream shops selling every flavor you’ve never heard of, and parrillas (steakhouses). Studying abroad in Buenos Aires means never being bored: You can hone your Spanish, explore Argentine culture through courses at the CEA Buenos Aires Center, meet local students, and gain hands-on experience through cultural activities and internship and volunteer opportunities. Choose courses in liberal arts, social sciences, and international business, all taught in English and Spanish, designed to take advantage of the city’s rich history, culture, and political environment.

Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city in Brazil and is famous for its breathtaking landscape, laid back beach culture, and its annual carnival. The Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Brazil. Enroll in a variety of classes in different areas such as law, engineering, communications, psychology, economics, business, international relations, and more. The school organizes events specifically for international students in order to help them integrate into the university community.
Chile Host University: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Santiago, the capital of Chile, was founded in 1541 and is located 70 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The city is known for its plazas, parks, and fountains, which share space with street performers, urban photographers, and historical buildings. Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) is one of the most prestigious universities in South America. A wide variety of courses are available and students may take up to 40 Chilean credits (usually three to four classes) including two required program courses (Chilean Culture and Spanish for Foreigners). UC also offers art, biology, economics, geography, history, literature, philosophy, political science, sociology, Spanish, theology, and many other disciplines.
Peru Host University: Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru Explore Incan archeological sites, pre-Inca ruins, and Spanish Baroque cathedrals – all in Lima, Peru’s capital located on the Pacific coast. This program requires a high degree of Spanish proficiency and is a full-immersion program as you will take classes with Peruvian students. Enroll in any of the courses the university offers, as long as you meet the prerequisites. Examples of classes include art, anthropology, sociology, economics, political sciences, journalism, education, archaeology, information science, philosophy, geography, environmental studies, history, linguistics, literature and psychology.

Ecuador Host University: Universidad San Francisco de Quito Explore Quito’s vibrant neighborhoods and admire the beautiful colonial Spanish architecture that makes the city a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although set in the north-central part of the country, it makes a convenient launching point for travel to anywhere in Ecuador, including the Galápagos Islands and the Amazon. Students in the program directly enroll into the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and chose from hundreds of courses taught in Spanish, including a growing number offered in English. There is a wide variety of course offerings, including anthropology, communication, ecology, economics/ businesses, engineering, history, Spanish, psychology, sociology, women's studies, accounting, computer science, education, marketing, philosophy, and political science.

Select from one of five Tecnolรณgico de Monterrey campuses. Once you have chosen a campus, you may take any of the courses the school offers, as long as the prerequisites are met. Subject areas for all campuses include Spanish, Mexican cultural studies, literature, history, business, and various other content courses based on language proficiency. You can further develop your practical experience with an internship, which are offered at some campuses.
