Caring Professors

"As an art education major, I have to be a jack-of-all-trades, but I was nervous about taking photography for the first time. Allison’s teaching approach turned something daunting into something I was excited about. It was a huge weight off my shoulders."

Advice for New Students

“I always tell people to go to the Union. I promise you’ll find at least 20 other people excited about the same things as you. There are student orgs for everything, like an anime club and a Dungeons & Dragons club. There are environmentalism clubs, multicultural clubs, Greek life, you name it.”

Pathway Advising: Students still figuring out what to major in receive advising to help them find the career that's right for them.

Student Success Center: Drop in on weekly review sessions for large lecture classes, meet with peer mentors, and get one-on-one and small group tutoring.

Writing Center: Meet one-on-one (in person or virtually) with a trained writing tutor for writing help in any subject, on any project and at any level.
